I hope not I liked little J, even wen she dethroned Queen B, I was still ruten for her. But she gave up to easily and quickly. You can mantain that sort of lifesytle, with those type of friends, with your family and your reputation intact if you are clever and determined at it. But last season she did act like a WANNABEE.

Everyone is talking about Chuck and Blair.  I say...he is gonna be over Blair once she is dethroned. AND if you all remember, Chuck tried to make out with Serena way back in season 1. I think he likes power and would only want a very powerful woman by his side.  Remember how he cast aside Blair when she first got dethroned by Jenny.  I think Chuck will refocus his attention on Serena once Blair loses her luster again.  Or he might for some reason be compelled to slay the monster that he created and team up with Blair to bring Serena back to reality once she starts partying with socialites and get to be "too cool for school" ...if ya know what I mean...

I think Blair should pretend to be with Dan, that way she could get back at Serena and Chuck at the same time.  I think it'd be a riot.  Serena trying to explain to Dan that Blair's only using him, and Blair rubbing it in Chuck's face that she doesn't need him... could be intersting.

I completely agree with the points made by madison and the bitch is back. And I loved this episode, the best by far. Did you see the look Serena gave Dan at the end and Dan's face? That was classic (and the music was perfect for that scene). Dan should be very scared, that self-righteous prick. With the old Serena back, things are going to get very interesting. Can't wait.

the way i see it is B will be dethroned by S with the help from Chuck so that when Blair has no one, he can then make his move on her as he will be the only one to care for her when she has no friends. But in the end, S and B always become friends again and I do believe Serena will finally make ends with the D and S relationship. What do you all think?

Looks like Serena could use a slap to the face from Blair and Dan's a dick

    FYI to FYI kids...

I was trying to restrain myself but alas, i couldn't.

Ever heard of reading between the lines?

Chuck wants a powerful woman by his side? Give me a break. He clearly wants Blair. The scene you mentioned when he cast Blair aside? Well, since you haven't got a slightest clue, here's what it was all about: he did that because he was trying to save his friendship with Nate.

I see that the banter with Chuck and Serena is entertaining. I, too, like to see them together but as friends only.

I'm sorry if this will rub you the wrong way but you make it sound that Chuck is so egoistic, which he is totally not.

Jack: I agree with you. Throughout the whole episode, I never thought Chuck was trying to get back at Blair. It's precisely because of what you said that he needs her to need him. And yes, S & B will always be friends. The rivalry just has to happen to keep things interesting. As for Dan...I'd rather watch his father. Rufus and Lily are cute, although Rufus had a point this episode.

FYI kids: FYI to you, the reason Chuck spurned Blair after she was dethroned in Season 1 is because he was trying to salvage his friendship with Nate.  He couldn't even look Blair in the eye properly while he was comparing her to a sweaty horse and you could tell it wasn't easy for him (kudos to Ed Westwick's acting). The only plans Chuck are hatching and have always hatched are aimed at getting Blair.

    Going back to this episode.

Let me just get this out--that bit about Marcus and Catherine is disgusting.

With that out of the way, i like to applaud the writers. You finally got it right. This is high school. The cliques, the so-called "rules", wannabes... Yep. This is one great episode. I am hoping for more.

P.S. You got rid of the Brits, when are you going to eliminate Vanessa? :p
