I have a different interpretation as to why Chuck spurned Blair after her dethronement in Season 1.
a) She made it very clear he was her very last resort.
b) He clearly was angry about her screwing him over (literally) with Nate.
c) He's no lovesick puppy and it's all about control. Why would he go crawling back to her?
They just need to both forgive and move on with their relationship, IMO.

I hated that scarf bit. S is ungrateful to B. yeah whatever she's heartbroken and all, does she think she has an excuse to put aside their friendship and be a total queen bitch to everyone including Blair?
Tsk tsk.
But what Chuck did, I don't have any problems with. :) scheming guy. very well done!

it's just that S n D thing is so thingy, full of distratcion, obstacles, i luv u, luv u not, then now they turned out to be mean which is cool i admit it...
how can u stand with this kinda endless story without keeping ur eyes on C n B? They're making the show complete...GG won't be anything good to see if C n B aren't hangin around....
S must make things work out if she wants to maintain her status as the real new queen B,,,She got the stuff,she's hot either,,,
what shud we do with Nassa?they're supposed to be together,,,they fit each other..thanx God we don't have to live any longer with the Dutchess n Lord wtf,,,
and Dan Humphrey,,,ow, get somethin to do...he can't be what he is being rite now 4 the whole season...go back to S,,,Lil J applied internship in somewhere but not the Waldorf in season 1..but when she opened the letter she was bounced in there,,,poor Lil J...I hope Mr.scriptwriter not tryin hard to push her as the next queen B..lil J has a sincere heart, she's just juniors....it's time 4 bed sweetie...
U kno, i still hope that Rufus n Lilly get in bond again...i'm still hoping it,,,they luv each other but why do we have to the union of Van Der Woodsen n Bass..quite scarry when i first time imagined that family...

Loved the episode. Really.
Seeing the bitchy side of Serena was fun, although I love her 'nice girl' side more.
Gawd, what Vanessa did was pretty dumb. She should've waited more than 10 seconds so that before going to the Duke! Ugh. Her character is just so...
Oh and is it just me or is the world becoming so twisted that people actually think that what Chuck Bass did was SWEET and a sign of real love for Blair? I mean come on. A guy who would further destroy a crumbling relationship between two lovers and the relationship between two bestfriends just to get the girl he wants is definitely not the type of guy who deserves to be with someone, anyone.
Although I love his character, I think Chuck would really be better off with no love interest. He's too evil. And having him 'change' or find true love despite his being a playboy would just be too cliche.

Although im going to hate see Serena And Blair fueding once more im am so glad Serena got out of her "nice" girl mood and grew back a back bone and B**** bone. I've have been waiting to see this side of her...but any ways about the episode it was by the far the best far so many twist,people getting screwed over,people screwing each other over. And by the way Dan got what came to him...his been pretty judgemental like forever...and from a person who can be manipulated by Hannah Montana and Georgina Sparks.sounds like he has good judgment.So he should watch out for what he says cause what he said to S was pretty harsh and judgemental of couse....and he just pushed the wrong buttons and all it got him was Queen S luved the end when S gave him a look and just walked away...again im going to hate seeing S and B fight i really hope the fueding doesnt last....But i wonde with S back to old b self and Blair being Blair what would happen if you get these two together to wreck havoc on someone..that would be some alliance>>maybe Dan could be the first Viticm

Wow.
This episode was definitely my favorite of the whole series!
The plot was just so saturated with twists, turns, and plots; It truly confuses me why this was not the season opener. =P
Anyway.
When Chuck gets pissed, he gets pissed!
Man. He is the master of revenge!
I love Chuck and Blair together, but his total loathing of Blair in this episode kind of freaked me out. It immediately occurred to me that he was simply extracting some sort of a complicated revenge on Blair. But, I have to give it to C, he's started a great plot dynamic.
From the beginning of the show, I knew that something fishy was going on with Chuck. I mean he was serving Serena breakfast in bed so long as she saw Dan with that other girl! (Who, I must add, was just dreadful as Amanda). It was so evident that he had arranged for Amanda himself in order to hurt Blair.
Catherine and Lord Farticus?
Totally expected, but it still caught me by surprise. Cat's banter in Episode 3 about Marcus's lack of "passion"? Duh. She knew that she was the only one getting some of that! I'm so glad that they're gone. Ugh. They were both so annoying!
Serena's back on top! Heh. That just does not strike me as a good thing; When Serena came back, she came back semi-reformed and Mr. Dan served as a place-mat in the new-and-improved Serena. Now that this constant in her life has disappeared with a bang, Serena has nothing to fall back to but her old ways. B just might get hurt.
As the old saying goes, History always repeat itself.
The scarves, though, hmm..

The end with Chuck and Amanda, though, very interesting.
Didn't he say something about Vermont? And didn't I hear somewhere that a certain someone used to reside, perhaps still does, in Vermont?
Hmm.
Why do I feel that our favorite trouble maker G will return to NYC to get revenge on the recently dethroned B, and C will be a part of it?

omg!! this episode was so awesome!!! that ending scene in which serena totally mean-mugged dan was freaking INSPIRING!! omg! dan was being such a jerk to her!! he is blaming her for her status in society! she cannot help who she is? it would be one thing if she allowed herself to get stuck up about everything but she doesnt. she truly loves dan and he is being THE BIGGEST JERK to her! good job serena! you show your bitch side to those who deserve it...and it certainly no surprise that it is a guy that needs it!
blair is just the best! she doesnt allow a guy to get the better, she schemes and plots so that she gets her way....awesome....admirable....inspiring! i love you blair! and if serena becomes like her then kudos to them! girls RULE! boys DROOL! <----very elementary but true!
how is it that a guy can claim to love a girl so much and be totally into her and then when things end...are totally indifferent?! honestlt HOW do they do it!!??!? guys are such pigs...power to the queens: serena and blair!

I really hope Chuck isn't trying to dethrone B again, for revenge and im sure she isn't going to be happy when she finds out. I just want them together!
Im really excited for then next few episodes! I don't think Serenas inner bitch is going to last long. As much as I love it!
