I was so looking forward to the season finale and was seriously disappointed. I found some of the leads they are setting up for next season are a bit bland for Gossip Girl. Georgina and Blair, like Blair would ever live in the dorm. Dan and Vanessa at NYU? Seems like they are trying to keep as many of them together in order to create good stories next season.

Personally I found the way they kept the ILY issue going on for the whole season was a bit lame, but I was so happy to see Blair's beaming face in that final minute.

I think it was a weak ending for a great season ... but I hope next season is as great, or greater than this one!

Oveall I think the episode was good. They did seem to cram a lot into a little amount of time, but it was stuff we all needed to know.

They managed to leave us hanging pretty good for next season. Serena's dad, C&B, Georgina, the love child.... it just all adds up to a great third season.

The Chair scene was the best of the whole season... Cant wait to see what's ahead.

I just finished watching the finale and I was actually really pleased with it!!!! So if you haven't watched it yet, don't be disappointed by some of these other comments! But I loved some of the lines from this episode, especially the quote from Nate that someone else already put on here about Gossip Girl. I do agree that it would have helped develop some of the storylines if it had been even half an hours longer, but I kind of liked that they opened SO many cans of worms for next season.

I don't know what everybody else though, but I was actually really surprised by the whole Serena going to Santorini to find Daddy VDW revelation. This will give her an actual purpose next season that doesn't revolve around doing something ridiculous that ends her in jail OR the whole Derena storyline (which will hopefully be put on the backburner for awhile!). And I thought the scene with Jenny being "crowned" Queen was hilarious! Constance should be interesting next year with her in charge...if she can keep her minions that is..

I also adored the Chair scence at the end. I actually squealed for joy when he FINALLY said ILY!! I loved that they had him go to Europe and get Blair all those personal gifts; it proved that he really did love her and would go around the world to prove it! I am curious to see what happens with their relationship next year....I guess we'll see... =)

The only part of this episode that I wasn't crazy about was the whole Nate going back to Vaness AGAIN, and she just took him back and was like sure, come to Europe with me even though I'm sure you'll just end up dumping me for someone else again... Boo for Vanessa for being a sucker again =P

That was an amazing episode 10/10 !!!Chuck and Blair's I Love You scene was everything we were hoping for and more !! It truly sent us happy for the summer and set up their relationship for Season 3I love how they answered some questions but opened many more story lines for Season 3 .. It is going to be an epic season just like the past 2I hope the summer flies by :D

it was full with OMFG moments and cliffhangers, and i'm totally in love with G

she's the best and i hope she become a regular for next season!

I was so satisfied with the ending. My friends and I were flipping out at the love scene. Finally, us Chair fans have waited so long for this! I'm excited to see what the next season will bring.

i am so excited for season three i think things r going to get even better and i cant wait to see how things went with chair over the summer because i think depending on how things go maybe chuck will ask her to move in YAY!!!!!!!!!i think they would make a great team and partners in running bass ind. after all they have been plotting buddies forever and they make an amazing team

Oh my, I just can't wait for Season 3. Chuck FINALLY said ily to Blair, and wow, needa see what Georgina Sparks is going to do. can't wait !

I really liked this episode too. But I agree with some very valid points point on the table by other commenters.

First let me say this, I LOVED THE BLAIR AND CHUCK MOMENTS. Actually without them on the show, I wouldn't care at all what happened and I wouldn't watch. I espeacially liked the part where Blair finds out from Serena (finally) that Chuck said he loved her.

Another thing I really like is how they try SO hard to make Serena look smart when it just really is never going to work. Im sorry but the character, while being lovable is as dumb as bricks. Even Blair Waldorf knew not to go after GG, hell CHUCK FREAKING BASS knew also to stay away.

But again I agree with the major plot disapointments. Like the whole Rufus and Lily thing. BORING, BORING, BORING. Enough, I don't care anymore. They stopped being interesting a long time ago. And the love child thing at the end made me burst out laughing, that was ridicules. The actor was ridicules, the whole set up was dumb, I dislike this whole plot in Gossip Girl, always have, always will. And no squeeky, little boy man in desperate need of an acting coach is going to do it for me.

I have to admit, I am intrigued by the Van der Woodsen reunion idea... Let's just see where they take this one.

I'm going to agree again with others about the dorm thing, Blair would NEVER EVER stay in a dorm, she'd walk in and go... Well, this is a charming closest now where's my penthouse? Even though Georgina and Blair bitching out is funny stuff. Although Blair is now almost untouable because of her new/old bf Chuck Bass, and we all know nothing get's by him.

I was extremely disapointed in Vanessa, I wanted to see her REJECT Nate, doesn't anyone ever just reject this guy? Well, Serena and Blair look to be the only girls that are no longer interested in this little man whore. I mean Vanessa was going on and on about sleeping with Chuck and how she needed to go to an STD clinic... Honey look at the guy you're with... Chcuk's slept with a lot of woman but Nate has slept with EVERYONE! And as Chuck once said... He takes care of his business...

All and all, not a bad episode.

love.. love love it so muchh finally we got to watch chair together.. OMG Im so happy I just hope all this happiness long for a while because they are just too cute, like when blair said can you say it twice and starts laughing and then kiss then then seriously say it again cute too cute and the we got to see chuck's amazing smile both of them.. maybe I sound kind of crazy but Im so happy for blair she deserved it..

Im dying to see all this gergie and blair catfights!!!

and I also think that even I dont like vanessa she should not go backpaking with nate,,
