Hey all, thought you might like my blog, it's just one Upper Eastsider's opinion, but it's pretty entertaining I hope.

S should be the queen witn no doubt, why should S always take care of B,the little B.so imature

It seems possible that B was jealous of S. But to tell you the truth, I don't blame her. I mean, S. did blow off their most beloved tradition by sitting in front row (or planned to until S. had to model for Blair's mom, Eleanor)... But I get jealous easily, too, so I know where Blair is going through.

i know where the anger and jealosy comes from in Blair. I know girls like Serena in real life. They seem blessed, beautiful, charming, warm, glittering like a diamond, shinning like a star, stealing hearts with a smile all their lives. It's unfair because they didn't work to earn this blessing or charm, they were just born with it. Then why are we born lesser?
And it's even more unfair when people like Blair and the rest of us less blessed, less glittering, less shinning people give our very best and work our hardest and yet, people like Serena always come up on top, effortlessly. Not because she's smarter, not because she's more hardworking, not because she's more passionate just because she's her. She's blessed. She didn't earn it, not with hard work. She leads a charmed life. It was just bestowed upon her.
That is where the jealosy comes from. And unless u know a "Serena" in your life, u wouldn't know how bad the injustice stings.

but come on guys, you have to admit,
this was the only episode i EVER liked serena (well, besides her being a bitch to blair, that wasnt cool)
but for the rest, she finally showed some individualism, and i especially LOVED how she walked up to dan, that scene was just FANTASTIC and it should definetly win something! XD
that scene was jsut perfect, with the santogold-song to it!
the writers should keep that plt, its great!

I dunno if anyone has said this, but how does Serena fit into Jenny's dress? Isn't there a slight height difference?

I enjoyed this episode. In Estonia we've stopped at first season, so I'm watchin them from the Internet and I don't know the following episodes.
Though I think Vanessa's great (Nate's kinda left behind, don't really get HIM), it didn't bother me not having them around.
I DO get Blair. The insecurity stuff, I have felt the same way too. It was kindy childish to sabotage the show (so stupidly), but then again, hurt peole don't think very clearly. Or let's say one kind of hurt, the shorter one.
Serena seems for me to actually be rather hurt by Dan and acting bitchy makes it easier for her. Nevertheless - listening to every new chick and hurting your BFF for that? That's not a very good friend, is it.
I LOVED the Dan/Chuck line. It was rather interesting. People say that they miss "old" Chuck Bass. I don't, it's great to finally get to know, why is he trying so hard to look wanted. He's a miserable as Blair. (I mean, having one best friend is something most of us lack, the one who picks you up EVERY single time, but then again, having only the one friend is a mayor risk, when she backs out on you) She has to be lonely.
That leads me to that (again), that B and C are made for eachother.
I get Jenny's behaviour. She really wants it. But dissapointing your parents, for me atleast, is far more worse than just being a brat. And she's done it mayor twice already. I feel sorry for Rufus.

Blair: Just because we can't be together doesn't mean I don't love you.
