    just to clarify.. is this episode purely the spinoff or it just has a lot of flashbacks???

    majority of flashbacks i'm pretty sure. they should have just done the spinoff sep. and given us a full prom ep! sigh.

    i think that it will have a little bit of both. half and half. there were a lot of stills for the flashbacks and the prom.

    Gwen Stefani is gonna be in valley girls in the preview she was there

    and in febuary she did an interview talking about how shes gonna make a guest appearance in it:)

    Yeah, the first time I watched the promo I thought it was young Lily singing. Didn't understand why though. Next time I watched it got the hint with "there' gonna be no doubt " or smth and put the pieces togeter. i have slow thinking, lol

    I just don't understand why they chose the PROM EPISODE for the spin-off.  The prom seems like it would be a somewhat important event in the GG character's lives, and that it would need to be more of a focus than Lily's past.

    I'm going to be really disappointed if the episode is going to be mostly comprised of flashbacks.  Judging from the previews, the spinoff is going to be a dud.  After watching those videos, I don't think I'd want to watch it if it were to air.
