Why is Georgina not in this at all?  I know I said this in another thread, but I'll be quite... confused if they just dropped yet another storyline like it never happened.  I hope she'll be in the finale at least.. =\

I hated the fact that basically the whole episode was flashbacks. There was hardly any present day action. Ugh.

I think it can be cool to see Lily's past and I'm sure that writers know what they are doing!

For the prom, it's just another party and it can be very annoying 45minutes in the same place ... flashbacks look really good and amasing

I liked the episode a lot, although I still wish they did a full hour of GG like they were supposed to, and just showed a full hour of Lily another day, I mean, what we saw from both was great, but imagine a full hour for each where the stories could be more fleshed out and developed(maybe some Georgina?) it would've been way more awesome.

Anyway, probably the most appropriate GG episode to air on Mother's Day, at least in Canada.

This was a great episode. Actually the best I've seen since Bart Bass died and Chuck went CRAZY. The flash backs weren't as bad as I thought they would be and they fit in nicely. It also ended the horrible mistake that was the Gabriel/Poppy plotline because we know Georgina will DEAL with it, which naturally eases the characters without having to spend ANOTHER episode clearing up that stupid plot line that they dug themselves into. The prom stuff was REALLY good. Everyone was on top form tonight acting wise and the Chuck plotline was BEAUTIFUL and Ed was incredible. ALso the blair and nate stuff was really well done too, it was the first time Nate, the character showed ACTUAL emotion which was nice to see. And Blair was stunning. The Cece, Lily, Serena story was really sweet. Lily and Rufus weren't boring for once.Don't let the valley girl flashbacks stop you from liking this episode because it was really good. The parts I hated were anything with Lily's older sister, the girl couldn't act in Veronica Mars and she most certainly can't act here. That and the Owen guy, it could easily have been Rufus (actor looks like Dan.) Once again, best episode in a LONG, LONG time.

I'm so sad that Nair split up. That was so abrupt and that last moment was sweet. I can't stand Chair. At least I can happily wait for the new gossip girl book. there's no way that chair will hook up in there.

  9. That was an amazing episode. I really liked the flaskbacks, Brittany Snow was brilliant. I can't wait for the spin-off believe it or not. I'm super excited for the next episode. Did anyone see that promo! Blair's line made chills run up and down my back (the last part). And now Carter and Georgie are going to be in the SAME episode, I can barely contain my excitement! I can't wait for the season finale!

The prom parts and the parts between Lily and Owen were my favorite parts of the episode. That and the "I need a prom dress." "Fine but you're gonna have to get your own shoes." between Dan and Jenny. CHUCK WAS SO SWEET! Even Serena admitted it. I love Chuck Bass. Too bad he so obviously loves Blair or I might steal him . . . that and the fact that he's a fictional tv character. I can't wait for next week!
