Serena got into Yale for the wrong reason. Though it's kind of starnge that a university like Yale wants that kind of publicity. But she's getting into Yale b/c of her fame as a party girl in NY.
But didn't Blair got accepted into Yale in episode 9. The dean called her to tell her that she did. I'm confused now. Poor Blair!

^And she got in because the school will think that Serena's parents will be able to make donations to the school (like being Bart's stepdaughter and stuff) I am thinking. Poor Blair :(

Hold your phones.. Serena drops out of her acceptance request for Yale and Blair is first in line. She is 95% likely to get in. Dan finds out and is pissed. Chuck tells Lily to not think about herself and Rufus and more for her kids (Dan, Serena, Jenny Eric) and the fact that taking Rufus to the Opera as a date is a no-no and a disgrace to having a husband who just died a month ago. Chuck walks away and that's that. I applaud him greatly for that.
Blair and her posse plot something against the teacher. Serena said not to while in the scene of saying she reject her Yale request.

Dan should be understanding that Serena does not want to ruin her friendship with Blair which I think is very admirable of Serena.
