It's "highly unlikely" because that will just be chucking up the whole damn foundation of Gossip Girl. What the chuck happened to Dan making his "way" into the UES? Now he's going to be banging a chick who thinks Brooklyn is trashier than the garbage dump 20 miles outta town? Gimme a break. Love the idea, but if that we were to happen.. just give that a second. They are mind as well make Jenny and Chuck have a thing for each other ffs. It'd be cool, yes opposites DO attract.

please don't use chuck as a variable in an argument like this. after all chuck did try to rape jenny in the first episode. and he DID bang vanessa. i think it's obvious that chuck has no limits because if he did, he surely would have reached them there.

blair is a bit different than what dan is used to and we all know how different he is from her, but it's possible. with my georgina theory, it's even more possible in the next season than it ever has been before.

and besides, my main reasoning for backing dan and blair is because i remember a time when blair was talking to dan like she talked to chuck in the first season and we all remember what happened there..

"How is it "highly unlikely"? As Mouse said, opposites attract. Plus, Leighton and Penn have great chemistry together. They would make a very entertaining couple. Also, the producers even said they are aware of the growing fanbase people have for Dan and Blair to be together and they said that they are willing to see where that will go. We just have to wait until the time is right for them."

THIS, Dair has so much potential, but it seems some people can't really see it(not mentioning anybody in particular here) which is too bad, but hell, just think about it, read just one fic, and you will be enlightened, I wouldn't like this couple if they didn't have a shitload of potential and awesomeness(which they already have in spades).

I remember Dair having a bigger fanbase than Chair pre-Victrola, especially after 1x04, a lot of people(especially since Nair was well on then) didn't really like Chair, or think of it at all, but then they happen and BOOM! PROTEIN EVERYWHERE, fans pop up all over the damn place, it didn't seem likely, or even likeable, but it was both.

So moral of the story, don't count shit out mang.

Look, it's a fictional show I'm not going to argue.. I'm not against Dan/Blair, I just don't think it will happen.

Well, there would obviously be a whole bunch of shit(awesome shit) that'll happen long before that happens, but them dating would be a logical conclusion, wouldn't it?

I mean, Chair is FINALLY(FFS, FINALLY) dating, as an official couple.

There will be a lot of things that'll happen on GG and other shows you never thought would happen, and i'm not even including DB in that, and it's good that you're open to other things, I hate when people are so closed shut on new things.
