Hey I know it's a little late to post this considering when the post that I'm referring to was written, but Chair_xoxo, you haven't been watching this show since you were 9 if you're 11. The show is only in it's second year. Although I don't think that Gossip Girl is too young for people in middle school. I'm 13 and I understand everything in the show; I also would have understood every single "inappropriate" reference before I started to watch the show. I haven't lost my "innocence" by watching this show. Also, just because I watch the show, it doesn't mean that I'm going to go out and do the things that are illustrated in the show. So basically, the argument that people in middle school are too young for Gossip Girl is complete bullshit.

LOL, I got my period at x years old so I'm mature because I'm in grad y. That was the worst thing she could have told us to prove her maturity.
I don't assume you all your 11-13 year olds will go out and seduce the great love of your life, but I do think that at 13 parents should still be regulating what their children watch. Sex, lies and scandles should be held until you're a little older. "i" because you don't go out and act like some of these girls, it's girls like Mary who try to. She's saying she watches porn, so she knows about sex? She goes out with boyfriends at 13? GOD, you're just CHILDREN at 13 and you have boyfriends? Goddamn, glad I was raised in a house where my mom did care to hold me back from boys and dating until I was at least 16.
I just think it's sad little girls wish to grow up so fast! When I was 13 I was playing in sandboxes fore at 13 I was still a child so I acted like one. These days 13 year olds go out with boyfriends, go for coffee dates (presumably alone), watch shows about sex and lies instead of gilmore girls and saved by the bell.

saved by the bell finished ages ago btw and its kinda sad to watch re-runs of it. vmec u r right, maybe we r 2 young but its not gunna stop us. my mum and dad dont care what i do because they care too much about themselves. you obviously had a good mum and dad, i love my parents but they dont really love me back! so with that they dont restrict me from doing what i want! In a way its great cus i get to hang out with my friends and my boyfriend. ever since we moved back from naples they just dont seem to care! we only moved there for a year but i changed us. it changed us so much that i now get to do what i want!

i know this is late but whatever. i totolly agree with "j" because im also 13 and i love gg. i mean my mom watches the show wit me and some times when there is innapropriate stuff she uses it to start up one of those akward connversations. i love gg because its a tottaly awsome show not because i want to be older than i am cause i dont i love to act like a baby its what i do, im not tryin to be mature btw mary please im younger than u and kinda think ur acting like the youngest person here i mean we dont care bout ur whole frekin life story keep it to urself. btw again one tree hill used to be worst than this show so yeah maybe you should have been watching that when you were our age and you would know ur facts. 1 last thing come on ppl you dont kow y we watch the show so if you think we shoudnt watch it we are sorry we didnt grow up back in ur day (lol)
