Anyone Else Think This Is Unfair?

   That Blair doesn't get into Yale because she simply "hazed" a teacher and Brown doesn't so much as acknowledge the fact that Serena's mugshot was plastered all over the front covers of newspapers?

    

   Maybe it's just my prejudice towards Serena...that she seems to get everything she wants without even trying, while Blair works her ass off and gets nothing in return. That's hardly fair.

   Yeah, that college storyline wasn't realistic at all. I mean how would Serena get into Brown and Nate get into Columbia? LOL

   Oh although I think it's funny that Georgina requested Blair as a roommate at NYU next year:

   1) Blair would NEVER live in a dorm!

   2) You have to agree to be the other person's roommate, so Blair would know that Georgina had requested her.

   Nate made her take the SATs last year, but I don't think she would realistically be able to afford the tuition. They should have made her go to SUNY or CUNY.

   And yeah, there's the problem of the tuition money.

   Man I hope she doesn't come back from her backpacking trip in time for Season 3.

   Vanessa actually seems quite intelligent to me, book-wise.

   But I do agree it's a bit odd that, say, Dan and Blair didn't get in to Yale.

   Dan got into Yale but didn't think he could afford the tuition. But NYU is expensive too, so who knows...

   I didn't get why Rufus wouldn't let Lily help him with Dan's tuition because if they do wind up getting married, her money will be his money too unless there's a prenup.

    Yeah I think we all know that Blair living in a dorm is not going to last long. Plus Georgina being her roommate is going to cause a lot of problems. I'm actually glad that Blair didn't go to Yale because then she would be away from the rest of the cast and we can't keep Blair and Chuck away from each other. Sorry Nair fans but it's true
