    i just re watch season 1 and i knew i love Derena so much.. I think Serena's style since season 3 not as good as season 1 and 2..it's weird,because of that i didn't get a feeling of chemistry when i watched them..or maybe penn and blake already broke up? I don't know..i just love Serena's hair in season 1..if fashion stylist at GG changes Blake's hair like season 1..maybe,,maybe i kind of want Derena to get back together..hehe.. (sorry,i know i'm weird)

    this argument is to easy to tear apart i might just let it pass. but here is my $.02 they have a prior relationship to their parents marriage and federal code says nothing about half siblings marriage, although several states do not allow half siblings to marry if for example half siblings get married in a state where that is legal then according to federal law and the constituitions supremacy clause then that marriage has to be recognized in all 50 states and all outlying territories including american samoa. this however would most likely be allowed an exception to standing laws in NY and CT because of the nature of the relationship (they weren't raised as siblings) and the fact that their "brother" was given up for adoption so although they have a half sibling who shares DNA with both of them they do not legally have a half sibling and therefore all incest statutes are null and void on this issue for they only cover legal relation not genetic. further D and S aren't half siblings themselves, they share a half sibling but neither one of them has any genetic material in common, so they aren't related by blood. and seeing as neither of their parents adopted the others children they aren't even step siblings, serena and chuck are step siblings because lily adopted chuck even though bart did not adopt S an E, so even that is a stretch. legally the only thing in common is that one of their parents is married to one of the other's parents.

    hell i'm just gonna rip the whole thing apart. there are permanent feelings between them, that is a given, stuff like that just doesn't go away.

    theres no reason to squirm for rufus and lily because they have empathy for their children they know what it's like to love someone and not be able to act on it for whatever reason and they don't want their kids to end up like them, only finding each other 20 years and 2 kids down the road without an opportunity for children of their own on a realistic basis.

    and if they do get together the family tree will look almost identical to every noble european family in the past 1500 years there was alot of interbreeding especially in the 14th-18th centuries with half siblings and 1st cousins marrying each other so it really is not that unprecedented, even in modern times. example prince charles and princess diana, she was his 2nd cousin, which means they actually shared dna, which makes them infinently  closer related than d and s and if it is good enough for the british monarchy then it is legal.
