Best acting moments in GG history?

Here are my favorite moments that expressed best acting by its castmembers:

    1. Chuck & Blair talking in the garden after he saw her pin on Lord Marcus's sweater. The whole scene is just heartbreaking, and you could feel emotions. I rewatched it billion times over.

    2. Ed Westwick in The Debarted. Amazing, award worthy performance. Not seen in a while on GG. I was impressed

    3. Hi Society episode was one of the best. Again, Ed's acting chops and that look he had when Nate & Blair were hooking up is priceless.

    4. Ed on rooftop, drunk after his father died

These are few I can think of off the top of my head.

Ed plays dark, angsty chuck so well. im torn between his performance in 2x13 and 3x12, soooooo good. and leighton in 2x14 when she cries in front of the mirror, just WOW

    1. Ed in the Debarted. The scene where he relives the night Bart died......He was AMAZING! Those eyes....It was acted perfectly, not too over the top.

    2. The elevator scene with Ed and Leighton.

    3. The jail cell with Penn and Ed.

Those are what I think of now.

I love the pin scene as well.

A.G.R.E.E.!!!! He was so freaking good!

    2. Leighton in the "Chuck bass, I love you so much it consumes me." She did really well in that.

Can we just give a shout out to Ed for how great he is at covering in accent?!

The letter scene in season 1.

All of Leighton and Ed's scenes in Seventeen Candles, I thought.

The final Blair/Jenny show down in All About my Brother.

    The 'Arabian horse scene'.

As a comedic shout-out, all of the Blair/Dan stuff in the season 1 finale was PERFECTION in my opinion.

Oh, and I also have to add I thought the Dan/Serena elevator break up scene was awesomely handled. Especially Dan getting up and pacing. I think I"m the only one who liked that scene so much, but I was really impressed.

He did do a good job, although he did slip a few times, like the hotel suite scene with Bart when he was supposed to be drunk and accidentally said "there" in something closer to his real accent. (Or an even higher class British accent than normal.)  Then again when he told his driver "Change of plans, head to Nassau County..." part of that was DEFINITELY in his real British accent! lol!

His major dramatic scene with Leighton though was awesome, and made him seem both older and younger than he really is.  When collapsed on the floor and held his knees in his mini panic attack, he seemed so young...but what he had to say seemed so mature.  Then Leighton's best part came a the end of the conversation when she coaxed him to stand up and then they walked off together, oh yeah, definitely a great moment there where they just connected so realistically, you know they're epic!

The final Blair/Jenny show down in All About my Brother.

It's one of my fav in season 1. Taylor in 2.10, and Leighton in almost all of her scenes lol and Ed too.

Ah, scorpionmiro, so nice to meet another fan of that scene. :D This show once wrote about girls and power in such a balanced and smart way. Love both of them in that SFM.
