IMO I think those two earning more than Ed, Leighton and Penn is unfair. By far Ed, Penn and Leighton are better actors. Chace imo is the worse...
By I think it because at least Blake was well known and was asked to be in the show. Why Chace earns more??? I have no idea. I didn't know who he was before this show. I've seen only one movie with him and his facial expressions are always the same. The guy can't act!!!

this is very ironic. but blake did have to audition , she just was ASKED to audition and they were pretty sure they wanted her. her audition tapes are on blake lively web

I think Blake and Chace are as good actors as Leighton, Ed and Penn.
Blake plays Serena really great I think, she does what they have to and they act like they have to, if Chace needs to play confused Nate, then he does it good. :D
But yeah, like some of you said already that Blake was asked and people knew about her and him before that show too a bit.

Whatevs the case maybe leighton and ed far surpassed blake and chace on this show. They need2renegotiate their contract cuz in my opinion they are the most popular characters on the show now. tbh they are all doin the same job. so it only makes sense to bloody pay them equally and if they ALL wanna negotiate their pay check they should all do so, so that they get paid equally. but jeez 50,000 per episode WTF!
yeh chairforevaa i agree with you Nate is just always confused its not really Chaces fault its the writers so hes gotta play it that way lol. Blake IS Serena end of tbh.

most of the TV show don't give the equal payment to the actors .
sex and the city,most of people love samantha,but kim got much less than sjp .in the movie ,sjp's payment was the other 3 actresses's total
blake and chace ,i think maybe they are the real stars on and off screen,esp josh asked blake to join gg many many times.i dont deny blair and chuck,they are the fav characters to people .
PLUS,i think blake and chace ,they are the great actors,serena's dumb and nate's confusion are not their fault.
BTW,I remember i saw this before ,but only had blake ,no chace,this is true or fake

um i hadn't heard of him really UNTIL GG. What has he been in other than the covenant? and that don't count cause he was in the move all of five minutes.
but anyway, i read that article in TV Guide too. i think it's a little unfair, if anything blake and leighton should be paid the same because i consider them the bulk stars of the show. i'm not taking anything away from chace but seriously. he gets billed, credited over ed and penn? no way because if you were to look at it from the show's perspective, at least penn and ed had been in all of the episodes while you can count the epis nate wasn't apart of.
that whole logic is just ridiculous. i'm glad i'm not an actress on the show, or had any part of it in that sense because that's HIGHLY unfair.
you should get paid what you are worth. end of story.
