I agree with you on that. That's just poor writing not the relationship, which was why I like that Chuck points out it stupid but it was stupid that the writers chose that as Blair insecurity. I wonder if they will ever go back to the bulmia (They did not explore it enough) as for the family, it is pretty stable except Blair still longs for daddy.

i understand what you saying, i love cb but im not impressed with the writing this season (surprise), where are the sex, passionate scenes? to be honest i really miss the angst
They need HBO, AMC, or Showtime badly. at least GG could get regconize as a show by emmy and golden globes. I don't miss angst there was too much and done poorly at times.

I love Chuck and Blair. It is kinda a tough situation, though! Because, obviously, the Chair shippers wanted so badly for C and B to get together..which they finally did! The thing is..........as Leighton said, they are so good because they can't be together.
IMO, it isn't because they are so good when they aren't together, it is because the writers obviously suck at being able to write a decent relationship SL for them. I haven't been impressed at all with any of the four episodes we have seen so far regarding C+B and based on the upcoming spoilers, it doesn't look any better. Honestly, I don't know who Chuck and Blair are anymore. But that is just my opinion.

did anyone feel like the passion that transpired between blair and chuck and season 1/2 in tonight's episode somehow made its way between jenny and chuck? i never really liked this hook up but the limo scene was pretty intense. those eyes he gave her ... *melts*

I actually love the direction they've gone with Chuck and Blair this season. They're getting older and are supporting each other. They're also telling each other how they which I LOVE. The back and forth would have gotten silly if they did it for another season. I think they're more entertaining together then they were apart.

I think the fact that the writers have made them filler is a reason people aren't too impressed. Calculate the time they get per episode. With the exception of 3.03, they've gotten what? 5-7 minutes tops? Maybe even less. I think 3.02 had 3 minutes of CB only. There's no time to develop their story. They don't really have one yet. All they do is fill up the empty spaces in episodes because the writers are focusing on Serena and trying to fix Vanessa, giving some more time to the Humphreys. Tonight the episode was all about Olivia/Dan and Serena/Ursula. Blair got what? 2 seconds of it.
How can we expect steam to rise if we're only getting limited amounts of CB with no real story?

I actually kind of like chair like this. For now. I think we all know the drama and the hot sex, and in more then just implied, will come. The writers really establish them as a couple, making them strong so they won´t just break up when the problems comes, because it will, the gay kiss is just the start, uncle j is coming back and all will be angst again. I give the writers a lot of cred, this is the first tv couple I have ever seen that is sooo good even without drama and not ven needing to be in the same scene :-) to make it interesting. I for one need this buildup so chair will be strong when the shit hits the fan.. And for the kissing and sex scenes, I think it´s kind of cute and totally intentional. They are showing another side to chair, they really love eachother. I know I dreamed about scenes like this during season 2, the cute, loving ILY scenes and here they are, I like this ride! And for GG as a hole, they have really cut down on the steameness haven´t they? Noone seems to get any on screen action, a bit eird considering it´s moved it´s timeslot...
And the new cb pictures, I just so happy they are still going strong as it seems, everything else makes me so worried. Remember derena, they really destroyed them with to much drama.

I don't want the drama to be that crazy, Supergirl. I'd just like to see CB as more than just filler and I feel they don't get enough time per episode. Or maybe I'm just spoiled...they were dominating most of the episodes last season and now my least favorite characters seem to be more the focus which makes little sense to me, since CB gets the most buzz.

And I agree with Daniela bout the time.
But maybe the writers needs to do this, no matter how much I would enjoy GG episodes will neve contain only chair :-). They are trying to focus on other characters. Season2 almost was ridiculous sometimes, it was really chairshow!
