Wow. I wouldn't have though that out of the whole shipping fandom Chair would be number one.
There's a lot of people shipping Serenate. Not on this forum, but the again... I care about them and know a lot of people who do and not because they are pretty. You can see it clearly on other sites. Including youtube and livejournal.
There is also other couples that almost made the list

It's more the way this pairing had been written lately - it was completely random. I can see the characters of Serena and Nate work awesome together but not in the way they were presented lately. So I was suprised about the sudden buzz.

Oh yeah, I understand that. I don't like it so much either. Like you said, it was random. I could point out thousand of better ways to do it better. But I've been waiting two season for this so I won't complain much. I ship Serenate hard, more than Chair -yes, more than Chair. And even then, I hardly see them being endgame or anything like that because of how they are being written. I don't trust the writers to do them justice. I still ship them though. I've seen many people commenting on how they shipped them but they let their love for them go when they were ignored last season. Really, how many Serenate scenes were there? So now that they are getting scenes together again, people are -resurrecting-. It's not as sudden as it seems, it's just coming out again. But I say again, I don't trust the writers by now nor the show. I hope for the best, and even if they screw up Serenate I'll continue to ship them outside the show -read:fanfiction- but I'll have to find another ship for them separately on GG.Posted 2/1/2010 11:48:26 AM # -
The writers have been really slow to make Serenate happen but i think them coming together could actually be one of the high points of s3. Not really surprised Chair came in first, the chemistry's still there and the fan base is (mainly).Posted 2/1/2010 11:59:20 AM #

Really? They rule all. Last year in that same poll they came from clear behind in an upset that dethrowned Nathen and Haley. Sweeping victory.
