What do you think is the deal behind this whole "three words, eight letters...and I'm yours" thing?

I think, personally, they're both in love with each other, it simply has to do with their stubborn natures and trying to dominate each other. The first one to say it is admitting defeat and is seen as the "weaker" of the two. The one who doesn't say it first can claim dominance over the other.

It seems to me that Chuck has given up the whole "No, I dont' love her" charade and has finally been slapped with the reality that he DOES love her. Why else would he be incompetent without her? She's just so stubborn and hot-headed that she doesn't want to give in and be seen as the weaker of the two, and she doesn't want Chuck to win, so she's holding off for the sake of her pride. She does love him, she's just too deep in denial and too prideful to say so.

To me, it seems Chuck is ready to settle down with just one girl. If he's willing to go this far out there for Blair, it speaks volumes. Now we just need Blair to fess up to SOMEONE (my guess is either Dan or Serena) that she loves Chuck. After she admits to it, then all we can do is sit back and watch the events unfold :)

    What do you guys think?

i don't believe blair is a hot-head. just in denial and possibly stubborn. i guess she doesn't want to let herself love him because she's afraid. and she doesn't want to admit that to him either. she didn't even admit she was jealous to him last episode after all. but i hope that she admits she loves him to someone or vice versa. then we can finally get somewhere. though we are slowly inching now. just barely though.

I agree with you both, if she would just admit to herself and then someone else (like Serena or Dan or ANYONE!) that she loves him, things would actually start moving along faster than just at a snails pace.....

I also just wish she wouldn't be as obvious about trying to seduce him as she was in the clip they posted. It reminded me of when she lost her cool at the dean's house when Serena was pulling her out the door in "New Haven Can Wait". I don't know why the writers are having her act like that sometimes this season; it's so not her, she's so much better than that....she's way more capable of being the manipulative genius b*tch that we all know and love. Now the writers are just making her look desperate and petty and whiny. And I absolutely LOVE B, but it's starting to get on my nerves.

I completely agree with the comments about the 'blair seducing chuck' clip from next week's episode.  I couldn't even bring myself to watch it the first time, it was so bad!  But, this is what I'm thinking/hoping - this scene is the only one of its kind and its really just to prove a point.  I don't thinking that they'll carry on with blair pathetically trying to seduce chuck.  Because, I mean we have to remind ourselves.  Chuck does want to be with blair, even if he's not acting like it in that scene.  Blair just has to be brought down a couple of notches and grow up a bit, which is what i think is going to mainly happen in this episode.

I totally agree with what all of you are saying! Blair's failed attempt to seduce Chuck was a sad excuse- i think that she should just be true to herself and tell Chuck that she loves him. But i'm a little bit confused- at the end of "chuck in real life" when Chuck said he wanted to "raise the stakes" does that mean that he wants a real relationship with Blair-- not only for the sex? So if Blair confesses to him that she truely loves him, will they become a couple?

Also, if you watch the promo video for "Womanizer" for Chuck Bass, the person who is stripping in Chuck's room is supposedly Blair, as well as the person he is licking. That scene is supposed to be for a dream sequence that Blair had when Dorota walks in on her performing an act of "self-love" lol.

Oh Crap! Katie Harris ^, I hope you're wrong! I don't want that licking scene to just be a daydream, that would suck....but you're probably right....darn! :[

And JuniorMint, I really reeeeaaalllly hope youre right! hopefully that will be the only scene of such horrid attempts of B trying to seduce C.

Well, as we've witnessed in "Pret-a-poor-J," they're not getting together....yet :( Man! I thought for sure she was finally going to tell him on the roof...DARN IT DAN, RUINING EVERYTHING ALL BECAUSE OF SERENA! GROW A PAIR AND GET OVER HER!! *headdesk*

Anyway, they basically promised to wait for each other, so....we'll see. *shrugs*

They did (sort of) promise to wait for each other and I really reeeeaaalllly hope that that works out. But in the mean while, is Chuck really going to remain celibate? I mean, come on, when was the last time he even got any? and is it even possible for him to, with his er, umm, "technical difficulties"? lol :P

I guess we'll just have to wait and see if love really has changed that Mother Chuckin Basshole or not..... I for one, think that it has, just looking at his tear-filled eyes at the end of Pret-A-Poor-J convinced me.

either way, I can't wait for next week to see how it will be with them now that they finally have everything out in the air between 'em...

Chuck is in love with the beautiful B but he is unable to get involved so deeply with someone that he truly loves. I think and hope that he does not want to hurt her.
