Who is your favorite character on the show?

My favorite character is Chuck Bass, obviously.

He is different then the rest of the characters, not only is Ed handsome but his acting skills brings some fasination to the show. I think without him or Blair this entire show would have been canceled.

He is witty and charming, not to mention a bad boy, and for some reason us girls find that facinating. :)

Thats why Chuck's my fav. character.

Blair. She appeared so strong with all these plans / schmes and always seemed confident(throughout the first season at least..) but that wasn't the case. She had so many vulnerabilities and issues to deal with. Her character is compelling and at times relatable.

My fav is Vanessa. I always root for the underdog and then I end up liking them and now I love everything about her. The way she dresses, her beauty and the way she treats other people. She's caring and only wants the best for others but in return she gets hurt. so I hoping that in S3 she'll gain some back bone. I also like the fact she's a minority and I can relate well to that...

Serena is the only character in both seasons of GG that I have never been annoyed with.

But my favorite, I'd have to say is either Blair or Chuck.

B & C both are very interesting & multi-dimensional characters. I also think that Ed & Leighton have made those chracters their own personal creations, so to say. They have made B & C as great as they are; if any other actors were playing Blair & Chuck it wouldn't be as good.

    Blair. Far and away.

She's such a unique character, and I think Leighton Meester plays her with great intelligence and skill. It's unusual to see a character both powerful and traditionally feminine, and when you add on the other layers of her insecurities, her loyalty, etc. I think she is the most complex character on TV. I'll keep it short for once, but this is the first time I've seen a female character that actually had the traits of the ambitious and emotional women I knew, rather than some watered down cliche of them.

I actually have enjoyed all of the original six cast members, and do believe when written well they each add to the show.

My favorite is Chuck, but Blair is almost tied with him. I just feel that the growth his character has undergone in the past two seasons to make him a better person was enormous. He really does have a good heart underneath the facade he has created. And Blair is such a smart, ambitious, and beautiful woman that she makes a great female lead. She used to be my favorite, but the way she acted when she was dating Nate in season 2 lowered my respect for her. But when she is acting like herself, I love her!

Blair, Chuck, BlairandChuck. Entire novels of stellar fan fiction (people aren't far off when they call these two epic) are being written about these two, but it boils down to their wit, complexity, and passion. These things make them compelling and lovable. Plus Leighton and Ed are also brilliant in portraying them. Haters to the left.

Honorable mention: Eric. He is too perfect and yet isn't boring at all -- how is that possible? I don't know, but that's just how great Eric is.
