it's way more "mature" than any other cw show. michael won't just suck it up and live with it, he'll get time to adjust (as in being really, really fucking angry).
and shan, look at next week: Nikita (Maggie Q) and Owen (Devon Sawa) face off against a rogue "cleaner" named Liam (guest star Pedro Pascal), while Michael (Shane West) takes a new position at Division. Michael and Nikita's relationship becomes strained as he watches her work with Owen.
while i'm all in for nikita/owen (i ship everyone with nikita, actually, cause she's just that awesome), i doubt it's gonna happen. michael is so angry that he projects that anger onto nikita, even though she had no choice. BBS </3
oh yes!!! It's FAR more mature to the point of it being very realistic (in regards to human emotions and reactions). You're exactly right, Michael will take AGES to get past this, and you know what, the writers are SO gutsy, unlike gossip girl with the gunshots and car crashes, loosing a limb is UNRETRACTABLE. omg next week sounds sooo intense!!
What I LOVE about the show is the how on one hand they have all of the action scenes yet on the other hand the relationships are still full of SO MUCH complexity, they really take the time to write special scenes between ALL of them, there is no lazy sloppy writing in sight. I am always soooo invested to the point where I cannot wait for the next episode! You know what Elena, same!! I freaking love Nikita, she is one of my favourite characters ever, along with B and C from gg! I really love her with michael though, they've been through so much! Her and alex have such a great relationship too, it has a really strong sister-like vibe due to them being through what they have but Nikita is also so maternal as well. BIRKOFF!!! he is just the BEST!!!! omg how much did you think sonya had karked it in the first few minutes?!?! I really thought Amanda killed her!!
