http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUeD_JY-SbAThat's what I miss. At least sometimes.

LOL!  Yeah I miss that too Stella, I miss it too.Wink

(Funny/ironic comment my mom just made, in ref to 2 neighbor kids, but it was while I was watching the video... "Those two kids should be old enough to know how to...behave." )

my biggest problem with Chuck isn't even that he seems to have lost his balls this season, but do you expect me to believe that Chuck Bass of all people adjusted to having a relationship for the first time ever so well?

That's something that bothers me too. That Blair, who has been in relationships before, would have more insecurities than him. It just doesn't make sense.

I really don't want them at all because of how horrible the writers have messed them up this Season.

but if I had to have them, I would want them to be equal again. It seems, so far in Season Three, that Chuck has been portrayed as this perfect boyfriend with no flaws, and it bugs me. This is his first real relationship, and I wish I could see more struggling on his part.

I'm also not into Chair because I'm not into Chuck anymore, because of the fact that he has been portrayed as perfect, or semi-perfect this season. Last episode, when he critisized Serena about the whole Serena/Blair thing....my mind automatically made the connection that he was acting like Vanessa. I don't like Vanessa, so when my mind made that connection, it dissapointed me greatly. Chuck should not critisize people.

I'm also sick of Blair being portrayed as the 'manipulative bitch' in the relationship. During 2x13-2x25 I saw her mature greatly as a young adult but in Season Three so far she has been immature and downright mean some of the times. Where did her maturity from Season Two go?

So that's my opinion. To make Chair better, even though I want nothing more than them broken up, Chuck and Blair need to be equal again.

Sex scenes are not going to happen. So I guess we have to live with the hope of hot making-out scenes.

    Seriously.

Banter + no angst + red tights! + secret rendezvous - Natefused interruption = one of the best Chair scenes ever.

What do I want? I wanted the writers to not tread lightly when they shifted from the honeymoon phase to the seven-week itch phase. Unfortunately that's how CB is being dealt with right now. A bit light on everything, to the point where they look like a joke to some people.

While I do see things I like - banter, sweetness, reading each others' minds like no one else's business*, and matching outfits - they've been put on the backburner this season. How are they top priority if Blair can't get out of NYU and Chuck is busy with his new hotel? They're stable - in the background.

*Blair's gay kiss plot was a fluke; as Lily so kindly pointed out, Chuck would have done anything for her. It was stupid to write that she didn't know that.

I'm also sad that there's hasn't been any steamy scenes, but I think the problem with Chair is way bigger than that. The writers have changed their personalities so much that they're barely recognizable. I want them to be equals and the reason they were that in season 1 and early season 2 was because of the personalities that they had then. That is what made them fit so well.

it really didnt bother me, because IMO his intention wasnt critisizing serena, IMO he was just trying to make them friends again, he knew that serena would listen to him (she always does), while blair wouldnt.that's why he talked with serena and not blair. That wouldnt work with Blair. Especially a Blair that just got her face shoved into a cake, just had the humiliation of finding out her "friend" was really a high priced hooker that was just using her, and a Blair that was hurting about losing her best friend. Chuck knows how to get through to Blair and that approach would not have worked IMO. Hell, Blair is paranoid and defensive on a good day. In the episodes prior to this she was downright batshyt crazy! lol. Yeah, I can't imagine her dealing with his "you need to repair your friendship pronto" proclamations too well.

Exactly. chair, as a relationship isnt an A plot anymore. like someone said, let's hope with bart and jack coming back their relationship becomes more important in the show. have you guys seen bart's spoilers? sounds like an interesting s/l. let's hope the writers do it right
