I still hope that they wont revisit Chuck and Vanessa, but who knows? The only interaction I've heard that they'll have is in 3x06 and it doesn't seem to be that much.

LOL!! You know I hate SAYING IT! And I hope I am completely wrong!! LOL In fact I triple dog dare the writers to make me completely wrong. :-)
But we all know that these writers are writing with their own agenda. There is way too much Vanessa in this season to make me thing anything less.
i assumed it was cause they wanted to make her likeable. notice how many funny lines she's getting and ALSO notice how 'honest' they have vanessa now. it's like they want us to like her and could be trying to force it down our throats.

^^^ There it is. Right there. I really feel like the writers/Josh/Stephanie have "plans" for Vanessa. It may be with Chuck...it may be with Dan. I doubt they are making her more likable for Nate. LOL

Sometimes I wonder how aware the writers are of why people hate her. Recently there was this interview with Joshua Safran were he talked about it but he didn't seem to have a clue. all he talked about was how the Dan/Serena shippers didn't like her in s1 and still had a grudge against her for threatening their relationship.

lmfao! really? omg. i need to read that. as if that's the ONLY reason people hate her. she gives us so many reasons with each episode she's in. plus the fact that she's a hypocritical bitch does nothing to help. she's just ugh. there's so many things wrong with her it'd take at least 10 more pages to write them down accurately. but i guess the writers are aware of how much she's hated. they just don't care. so yeah mc is right. they write their own agenda and basically tried to revamp her personality. she's funnier, kind of dresses better and suddenly can't tell a lie like lincoln. i dont' think the writers know what they are doing though, because turning her into an official mary sue won't gain her any fans either. its' about time they gave up lol

well, it looks like it's working, in fanforum and fanpop a lot of people seem to be liking vanessa, and even wanting her with dan. i myself never hated her but i never cared about her, but i think she is more likeable this season, she and dan were fun to watch last episode. the thing is that she isnt being used as a prop anymore, she's getting her own sls

AG: I love Vanessa, but I feel like because she had a crush on Dan for 14 seconds, and during those 14 seconds, Serena perceived her as a threat, there is a small, but vocal contingent that won't allow themselves to see how great she is; they won't let it go.
JS: That is funny to me, especially when you think of everything that Blair and Chuck, or whoever else, has done. I guess there is that group that felt very protective of [Dan and Serena's] relationship.

well I'm not completely surprised, cause of course som people will like her. I just don't think that she'll be able to get a big fanbase.
