Can't blair find that in someone who is not in love with her bff.
He might not have feelings for S at that point - and as FA said, you can't choose who you fall for, and Blair (and Dan!)'s only human.
Keep in mind that we have no idea how Dair is happening anyway. It might just be a drunken ONS (I wish that was all Chair was, js).

You just brought up something I forgot all about.
Chair started off as a regretful ONS, did it not? Now we hear of all this talk of how that's all Dair is going to be, but history dictates that DB starting off as a ONS means nothing to their long term viability, as this shows major couple started off that way too.
I can see DB's dynamic propelling itself from a ONS, simply because it fits their dynamic to ta tee. Not that I want them to start off that way.

IDK its just how they seem to be "happening" maybe in a season where he seemed i don't know over S. We'll see.
