Dair fans, why do you prefer them over Chair?

    wow. idk i think chuck and blair are great for each other and yea ofcourse i get tht they cant be together for the whole show but they hAVE TO BE endgame

    i guess we shud first see dan and blair and then decide if we like them or not but idk why i get filled with dread wen i think of them together cos i feel like it'll destroy GG and chair and just idk! sorry, its just how i feel. cos i like how dan and blair are right now.

    but still guess we cud give it a shot and cringe...

    I know how to lookup terms in the dictionary, I just don't understand the sentence construction of Chuck being a symptom of Blair's insecurity.

     

    And you've pretty much equated "wreck" to "outcast", or at least "outcast" being one of the many definitions of Blair as a "wreck", and you've blamed that on Chuck.

     

    And to be fair, EVERYBODY on this show is a wreck. Otherwise we wouldn't HAVE a show.

    She has ALWAYS been a total wreck the only difference is that in the past she suppressed her emotions and instead turned to self destructive patterns such as eating and purging. With Chuck she doesn't have to bottle up all the emotions inside of her in fear that he won't accept her and criticize her the same way Eleanor, Harold, Nate and everyone else does.

    Oh I'm sure Dan wouldn't either after they got to know each other. ;D

    Are you guys forgetting that she was with Chuck in s1 too? I know they weren´t in a real relationship but they still had a lot of interaction then. And I don´t remember Chuck making her insecure about herself. The dynamic between them was really good and in the beginning of s2. It´s after that when things started to go wrong.
