It hurt, both of them betraying her.
Blair took several deep breaths to try and calm her raging emotions. It didn’t help though.
She felt like her world was collapsing, like all the strings that held her life together broke one by one, until her whole world shattered in a million fragmented pieces. She literally had no one to turn to. Nate had abandoned her, left her alone in his parents penthouse without a single backward glance. And it hurt. She never knew he could hurt her so much.
And Chuck. Just thinking of him made her want to crawl up in a hole and die. Who was he not to want her? He was the one who said she was amazing, who said he had damn butterflies for her, but he abandoned her just the same. He didn’t even fucking fight for her after she had gotten back together with Nate. He hadn’t even tried to fight for her.
Blair cried silently. Everything was ruined. Nate and Chuck would never speak to her again, the girls on the step had disowned her, even Serena had given up on her. She was all alone.
But there was someone she could talk to…
No…… Blair shook her head, sickened by her betraying thoughts. Her talk to him about her life? He would probably laugh at her before closing the door in her face. It was a stupid idea, going to him to talk, and would result in her feeling more shitty, not better.
But wasn’t it worth a shot? She knew for a fact that whatever he said, whatever he did, it wouldn’t be as worse as what Nate and Chuck had did and said. He could call her names, make fun of her, but he couldn’t break her heart as much as they had.
Her mind was made up. Whatever he said, she could handle it. Because she was Blair Waldorf after all.
