Ok, I know the thread title is trying to be provacative and all shit-stirry(and pretty lame) but this will actually be a thread where Chair and Dair fans can converse without sticking ice picks in eachother's throats about tonights events and potential future development between their ships.

But who am i kidding, we'll probably end up going all braveheart on our asses.

So let us shed blood... or, you know, some intellectual discussion, whatever.

Is this Mel Gibson drunk or sober? Is this even Mel Gibson? More importantly, how do you tell a drunk Mel Gibson from a sober Mel Gibson?

Also FA, I think you chose the pic with Mel Gibson on some sort of subconscious level, because of the clear parellels between him and Chuck when it comes to booze and women. Or was that on purpose?

See how I managed to talk about Mel Gibson and Gossip Girl at the same time? Kudos to me. I must go do work now.

This is my question for Dair/Dan fans (I already know the Chair fans' answers). Are you surprised/disappointed that Dan sent the video? And that he blamed Chuck? I am and I'm a Chair fan.

I guess it depends on whether or not he's insulting Jews at any given moment.

No, i'm much too used to these writers fucking all their characters over by now to be surprised by it tbh.

I still believe he did it without the intent of making her come to him afterwards, cause there is no way he could even know how close on the precipice Blair was to having feelings for him, but insinuating it was Chuck on Dan's part takes away the intent of making her go to him again after too. My guess it that he just wanted her to be happy alone independant of Louis and them all.

I can see this playing out badly for Dan and I won't excuse it. That was not a good thing to do at someone's wedding no matter the intentions behind it. And Blair would be absolutely right to be upset with Dan. As a Dair fan, I do hope to see Dan take responsibility for it. And if he doesn't, what can I say... there is been this kiss. It has been nice. Life goes on, right?

The last 8 words(LOL) is in this post are exactly why I am so proud of this fandom, this whole post is beautiful in it's own way because, we don't stay blind to things we don't want to see. If Dan fucks up and doesn't pay we won't be happy and if Dair is ruined cause of it there will be no death threats, there will be no vocal boycotts, there will only be peaceful exit, and we'll leave happily knowing we got at least one moment of a Dair romance some of us have been waiting for for years.

Of course some of us are crazy too....
