yeah thats true, i know alot of people like that too but they arent as obsessed as i am so they dont come online and talk about it. so many people like ds put them together season 4!

The show clearly needs DS fans to watch. NSers will still watch for CB, but the majority of DSers have stopped watching. The ratings were awful on Monday. Get the hint, Josh.

Wow there are alot of Dan Serena threads here lately LOL Its good to see Derena fans having given up all hope!
I actually did like Dan and Serena in season one and thought they were a cute couple but if the writers chose fto bring them back it is going to require a lot of serious build up and work on their characters- I dont think it is something which they should rush. This isnt my Chair bias talking -though some may assume it will be- but I actually think Dan and Serena's romatic feelings resurfacing would be far better storyline then a Dan and Blair hookup as I think the whole notion of two people reconnecting with there first loves (especially in the face of their families uniting) is probably more compelling and intersting- I also like the idea of a Nate Serena Dan triangle I think it would be interesting to watch.
I think Dan and Serena reuniting though is soley dependent on how set the writers are with the Vanderhumprey clan. If they still see this as the wholesome family unit of th show Im not sure they will go with Derena- although that would shake things up? Also how much of an impact Serenate makes on the fans could also prevent Derena from happening.
Either way Serenate or Derena I like both these couples and think each relationshipmakes sense to different degrees and cant really decided so I wouldnt be devasted either way

I miss Darena too, I thought they were annoying in the last part of season 2 but they were awesome in season 1 and the first part of season 2. Blake has that chemistry and spark around Penn that shes not able to get with anyone else, its lovely to watch.

I miss Darena :( <3 . I used to ship Serenate too but after seeing them in "The Hurt Locker " I kinda lost respect for their relationship .

I just have this feeling...this crazy feeling that getting them back together was Josh and Stephanie's plan the whole time. Keep them apart for awhile build up anticipation and when they finally have a decent scene together where they're alone it will be like WHAM! why did they ever break up? an instant OMG they never should have broken up moment.

I'm sure Josh and Steph always had DS as endgame in their minds. Why would they write them the way they did in season 1 if they weren't trying to show people how meant for each other they were? They effed a lot of things up from season 2 until now, but I don't think it was much of a question of who Dan and Serena belonged with. I'm hoping the writers will start wrapping stuff up, and we'll see the amazing final DS reunion. They're just kind of inevitable. At least, I hope they are. lol.
