Well, they have, IMO, and I am pretty sure I'm not the only one. The show are clearly giving us a sibling vibe between them since the last season, even some DSers get that perfectly, I'm sorry if you saw some romantic or sexual tension when Dan and Serena talked about how she should talk with 'their' dad about Brown.

They haven't had scenes in 7 episodes. It's kind of hard to see how they'd treat each other. And did they call Rufus "their" dad in those scenes? Pretty sure they called him Rufus!

And I have never once heard them refer to each other as brother or sister. Dan still calls her his ex.

Oh come on now, that was not a brother and sister vibe in the loft. There was sexual tnesion. I honestly think they keep DS apart because of PB. It seems like they can't not do that thing together when they are in scenes. Regardless it's hard to say they are acting like siblings when they don't have any scenes so that makes no sense. Besides he refers to her as his ex. It's not like he is all "Hey sis..let's hang out!" Please.
If anything Vanessa is more his sister than anyone. They even look like they are related kinda like Serena and Nate which is funny. lol

Dan and Serena are not the kind of couple I usually ship. But when people say stuff like I have been hearing, I'm like WHAT?! I know it must be difficult to ship Nate and Serena when you have to follow in Dan and Serena's footsteps, but just face the facts, that's all, and don't be ignorant about it in the process trying to change the past because it won't change no matter what the writers do or what you hope for.
I totally agree about PB, I have seen some of their pictures away from set. Lord Jesus they are all over each other, so I don't find it far fetched for the writing to keep them away if they are trying to sell other stories right now. lol
Just to add my 2 cent about them as well...they will end up together, which I think works because the way this show is written they are the other's person's other half.
And of course we know CB will. :D

I agree, I dont ship DS either, I actually prefer NS over them, but you cant deny what DS had.

They have had barely any scenes together this season, honey. Besides, the scenes they have had has never struck me as brohter-and-sister-like.
And yes, Dan and Vanessa have the sister/cousin vibe.
