Dare to Dair?

Apparently the creators of the show said that gossip girl is like a game of chess, where chuck and blair are the king and the queen... And everyone is a pawn, other than serena. If this is the mindset they work with, then you know you can have nothing to say. Lol. Its all a bloody mess. These writers. I feel bad for the actors working on the show.Posted 11/16/2012 12:47:12 AM #

@Rita, is it your interpretation of the show or something they actually said?

That's actually something they said. Someone posted a link like that on the chair thread. Although I've seen the show like that too but they atleast came out n said it.Posted 11/16/2012 4:26:06 AM #

Safran used to say that the show was about the relationship between S & B, even though the writing didn’t really support it. But now that the inmates are actually running the asylum, they are at least admitting their bias without realizing the consequences.

Atleast they're finally admitting it. Though if they did it earlier...a lot of fans would have been saved from this trainwreck.Posted 11/16/2012 8:46:28 AM #

I didn't get the last episode. I didn't get that Blair and Dan seemed completely fine until the video came on. That video is old and was taking at a time when Blair passed all her free time with Chuck and not any of her time with her BF Dan. I mean blaming Dan for thinking it was over is aweful. Especially since he received a message saying Blair was going to Chuck and therefore choosing him*WHICH SHE WAS* and what the hell with the rules of being over and having sex before and after or saying I love you before or after you break up. Chuck couldn't wait for Blair 5 minutes at the top of the empire state building and got in bed with a teenager almost immediatly. Comparing these two things is wrong and just mean from the writers. Now I'm happy with the way some triangle ended but this one doesn't even have decency. I mean bringing Dair over and over again is wrong because moving on means getting over the relationship and talk about something else. Blair and Chuck not being able to be together while achieving their dreams means they are not a real couple and could never be. If you can't be facing obstacles together then you ARE NOTHING.

Interesting to note that Dair still has a following that just might be affecting the ratings. Tina if you're right then GG definitly has to have learned one lession: the loudest fanbase is not necessarily the biggest.

wow I'm actually really surprised. The Chair fanbase is not happy either. Actually they are pissed. The fact that there is 5 episodes left and they don't even get a relationship is upsetting them too. And why bringing Dair over and over again but then be like : they are over for good....it should be like the Nair story, un-excistent. And actually since they made up their mind about who should be with who, why couldn't the season be about Blair-Serena-Nate-Chuck friendship with Blair with Chuck and Serena with Nate and Dan forever alone. I mean isn't it what they were saying when season 5 ended????

To answer your question Magnus... No they didn't answer back, they wouldn't dare acknowledge that I or other distraught fans may indeed have a point. One word sums it up and that is - COWARDSPosted 11/17/2012 9:09:53 PM #
