Diana's accent

Out of all the things bothering me about GG right now, Liz Hurley's accent agitates me the most. Have you EVER heard an English person use such a fake English accent?!

it's so annoying. I just hate how she talks and she has a weird voice

True. Everything she says sounds ridiculously affected.

Completely ignoring the fact that she's always had that accent. She's a WAG, she's got to stand out from the others.

She's a WAG
But she was in Inspector Morse, before she started dating Huge Grant, Steve Bing, Shane "Warney" Warne and fraternising with the Becktons and Elton John. I don't see how you can call her a WAG.

I think we can both agree that she's married to Warney, yes? Doesn't that fact alone qualify her a place with the WAGs? She looked pretty WAG-gy in the IPL matches, to me.
How do you define your WAGs?
It was a non-sequitor in an inane conversation. Try not to hurt your head over it.

I don’t know the official definition but I’ve only seen it used, in Britain, to talk about the wives and girlfriends of football players; maybe by extension it now includes cricket players too.

Warney and Liz Hurley got married?! As if Australian tabloids aren't all over this....?

No, they're not. I'm not very good at tabloid information. They are engaged though, right?(AL: it still means that she's a WAG).

They use it to define most sports wives and girlfriends now, I know. And I'm pretty sure AL knows that much, as well. I think the question being asked was more if AL has a personal alternate criteria that he employs. He's just insisting on being difficult (Chew).
