They didn't hook up--Blair and Jack I mean--the preview just wants viewers to think that. I think most people are right about the blackmailing. One of three guesses maybe he did actually do something with her in hopes that Jack would retrieve Chuck. Possibility two: he caught Blair with her bulimia (although somehow I doubt this because while it is a big dealChuck knows it's not his place to judge.
BUT three I HOPE YOU GUYS ARE READY FOR THIS
BLAIR HOOKED UP WITH AARON!
I KNOW IT MIGHT SOUND CRAZY--BUT IN THE BOOKS AARON GOES OUT WITH SERENA BUT LIKES BLAIR AT FIRST SIGHT.
Also, if you haven't noticed, the show made it so Blair and Aaron never looked at eachother once--I was waiting for the moment but it never happened.
The guy at the door is Aaron and I am 100 percent sure--yes the color might be the color Chuck wears--but Aaron could wear it too
The voice that came out of the man at the door was Aaron and I'm sure--I can't miss a distinct voice--and I think Uncle Jack caught them after the break-up with Serena

Ok person above me, i agree with u that in the books Aaron does like Blair first, but Aaron is gone from the show-for good. And it is pretty obvious that Jack and Blair hook-up (EEEW!!). But i hope that it does not damage Chuck and Blair.

That was sooooo NOT Aaron's voice!!! that voice was a hell of a lot hotter then Aaron's!!! That voice is the same voice that in the previews at the beginning for next week, showing Chuck and Jack talking with Chuck saying "Blair would never touch you",and Jack resonding; plus Aaron was with Serena in B.A for the holidays, they weren't even back yet for even the possibly that Aaron and Blair could be hooking up.
I agree with what everyone else is saying, the producers have a good way of making it sound worse then it is. Jack saying that "we will have such a good night tonight" has nothing to do with that moment in time at the elevator at Blair's.

I don't think they hooked up. Uncle J knows a secert of hers but personally i dont think thats it. My poor shipper heart will be crushed if thats the secert.

Also the moment in the elevator at Blair's was probably Chuck. By the look of the sleeve.. it was like tan, the color he was wearing earlier! lets just hope! :)

Aaron is off the show plus he's B's stepbrother and Serena's ex.....I don't think she would go there. I do agree that I think its Chuck at the end of the promo with the roses. Yes its Jack saying something about having a good time as a voiceover but if I had to guess he's probably telling Chuck that when their in the limo.

blair hook up with nate during new year's eve and jack caught them. now jack's blackmailing her to help him takeover the bass industries.

Ok..I'm dying here because I'm so curious about the secret and can't imagine it being as simple as sex with Jack Bass.
Something happened on New Years'...What? It only happened once.
When Jack Bass says "let's have a good time tonight" or "we're going to have a good time" I think he's saying it to Chuck. There's a scene in the previews from this episode in which Chuck was in a limo partying it up with Jack Bass, so I'm thinking since Jack Bass is now (or will be next week) Chuck's guardian, he's going to try to get him to party and screw up his chances as staying CEO so he'll get appointed.
I seriously cannot imagine Blair allowing Jack to manipulate Chuck all because a one night stand.
Remember when Georgina came...the dead guy story came out of left field. Who's to say the secret isn't something crazy and out there, too? In regards to Jack's comments about Blair touching him...ugh...could be something he's saying to get Chuck to distrust Blair, after all she'll prob trying to help Chuck get away from him when she sees what Jack is up to.
Also...Jack told Blair that she has no choice but to trust him. I can't see it being a sex thing making him say that. Jack Bass knows something and I'm wondering if it all comes back to Bart Bass. Jack did head the Australian division of Bass INdustries after all.
The writers once said they were going to keep the characters grounded this season and focus on relationships. Josh Schwartz mentioned he didn't want to do what he did with the OC. I'm going to try and trust them, as hard as it is because I've been burned by so many other shows.
I agree that the previews are always deceiving. If you check out the promo for episode 209, you'll see that they make it look as if Blair catches Nate kissing Jenny and being upset by it...not even the case in that episode, so...
My two dollars (instead of cents, because my post is so long).
