I think the promo is just cut and pasted to look like Jack and Blair hooked up. I think the whole New Year's thing is something about Chuck's past or Bart's death that they don't want to tell him for fear that it will make everything worse. As for the flowers in the promo... The sleeve attached to it was tan.... and we all know that Chuck wears brown and tan at times and he had a tan coat for part of the promo.. but who knows? My guess is that it's definately NOT Jack though. He doesn't seem like a tan kind of guy. The line from Jack about having a good time I think is probably directed to Chuck. In one of the CW's new promos for the show Jack and Chuck are partying in a limo... Anddd he's wearing the tan coat. I read a couple of spoilers that confirmed Chuck will be made CEO. As for Chuck telling Jack that Blair wouldn't touch him... I can't be sure. Maybe Jack's trying to get them in a fight? I doubt they hooked up. I mean come on it's Blair. However Jack was a little touchy feely in the episode but I'm attributing that to being a Bass trait.

Sam, I love how you think........and investigate! It's just like the writers to cut and paste crap so we are all on this cliffhanger til next week. I bet they get a good laugh(if they read the forums) about all the stuff we conjure up. Hell, they probably take the material we come up with and start running with it. Yes, the over the top flirtation is certainly a Bass trait!

either the promo is just VERY misleading and will take us to something nobody expected, or..
when chuck says "blair wouldnt touch you" and then jack says "why dont you ask her about it", so he does and chuck flips on both of them and thats when blair says "you brought this on yourself".. then she goes after chuck and thats when we see her running after him. then chuck possibly hooks up with that chick in the limo? then realizes what hes doing and goes to blair, with the roses. im positive its chuck, but whoeevr said this is right, it could totally be at the beginning of the episode

i really hope that the promo is misleading, but i definately think blair and jack at least kissed if not more i hope not. i also think that jack could possibly hold this over blairs head, im sure they did something though because i definately investigated the episode and promo, in the episode blair told serena she did something bad s said what b said i told chuck i love him, then she said i did something else too but she was interupted and never said what the other bad thing was of course it was some kind of involvement with jack-ass. you know this is really pissing me off i want blair and chuck to be happy together already or at least unhappy alone and not hooking up with others and then finally they are so unhappy not being together that they get together. you know what im saying come on writers.

Chuck seems upset that his dad left him to be CEO - that's why he runs out. He says his dad is just setting him up to fail. And you see the girl in the limo more clearly - just a random girl we've never seen before. This is CHUCK people, she's probably just a nobody random girl for that scene.
It looks like Chuck said "Blair wouldn't touch you" AND THEN ran out of the building but then he doesn't seem mad at Blair when they talk, so I think he doesn't believe Jack (neither do I)

i seriously hope that blair didn't do anything with jackk :[ because that would be awful for chair, and would be so stupid, since they've already put chuck through hell. here's what i think.i think that jack might be messing with chuck in order to get ahold of the company. its kind of obvious that jack is looking to take ahold of bass industries. and he could, if chuck completely went off the deep end. and he knows the only thing keeping chuck sane, is blair. so i think that maybe jack is telling chuck that he fooled around with blair in order to try to ruin chuck and blair. and i think that what blair actually told jack not to tell chuck is something different. if that makes any sense, lol. it was kind of hard to explain(:
