does anyone know how "real life" is like in UES?
can rich kids really go to bar and have a drink despite that they are underage?
and do they really take cab to school?

Cab to school? Chuck Bass used to take a freaking LIMO to school. Now that was a statement.
As far as another question, have no idea. Don't know anyone rich. But I get carded all the time.

why wouldnt they take a cab school? i mean if they have the money then why not take a cab or limo everyday especially during the winter beats walking in the cold. As for drinking I dont know

I agree. If you had the money it wouldn't make sense if you didn't. Who would want to walk in the cold? and NYC is really cold in the winter

Regarding the whole drinking age, I think if regular people can have fake IDs, it must be even easier for rich kids... so I guess they can go to bars and drink just like a lot of underage kids with fake IDs do...
As for the cabs, I don't know, do you see a lot of limos in Manhattan? I'm not from the U.S so I reaaaally have no idea :)

I don't live in NYC but I can't imagine every kid taking a limo to school. A cab sounds normal, but I guess only the very rich have a private car at their disposal

Wealthy people don't take cabs. They have a car service.
And for wealthy kids it's the same as it is for celebrities.
Clubs can allow patrons under 21 inside if they serve food as well as drinks. Money talks.

I'm pretty sure it's just assumed that they all have fake IDs. Plus Chuck's dad owned the Palace I'm sure he could get anything he wanted regardless of age. Money talks, it doesn't matter how old you are.

REAL LIFE Court, we're talking about RL in which a private Limited company owns the Palace and not the Basses.
Car Service isn't that expensive btw.

anyone can drink in NYC, even if you werent rich like :fake ID, paying someone to get it for you, steal it from your parents cabinet, stealing one when your parents have a party or something, go to a bar for 2 weeks and finally the bar tender might feel sorry for you and give you one, have a house party and bring a keg in some way....
as for the Limo, they have normal cars you know.
