Should I really start with what Dan did for Blair since s1, when they weren't even friends and were supposed to hate each other?nothing big really.
chuck has done big things for blair and also alot of things for blair. nuff said(and u will see more in season 5) but anyways. Im done because i dont want this to turn into a argument about who treated blair worse because im pretty sure u love those arguments.

Kittiwitti/Lexie wants to promote her statement. Both Chuck and Dan have flaws, negatives that enthrall them to be hated by different individuals. It all comes to perspective. Sure we may not agree with who treated who, but the duo have caused problems and such. HOWEVER they also show positivity during their lifespans with Blair.

Look, there is no reason for a thread like this. Every character has stuffed up, no couple or ship is perfect. And all these Dair fans are always criticising Chair over the same things.. Most things that happened seasons ago! Well newsflash Dair sure as hell aint perfect.. They are VERY VERY VERY far from it.

I agree Danfan, every character has flaws. Its basic in human society. Well in the GG universe, most of the characters are already screwed up LOL

Lol yes Prissy I love those arguments since you guys don't have anything good to take me down a peg or two, do you? You just say "Your argument is not correct" and contradict my post hoping it'll be good enough when it obvuously isn't. Now let's see, shall we, what makes a good argument? I said that Dan's always there for her, and that he was always there. Why? In season 1, corridor scene. Blair is hurt and she always had issues fighting with "Serena's oh so popular it girl". Dan who is supposed to hate her, comes there and sits beside her opening his heart and soul about his own family issues. Just like that. And she listens. They sit just like that opening to each other and it's a big step. Big for to start with, anyway. Dan helped Blair get with Chuck, several times. He adviced her about it even when they weren't friends and when he was "supposed to hate her" again. In fact with how many times he was trying to reunite Chair you Chair fans should probably be bowing to him already. He punched Chuck when he slept with Jenny but he also said "You, tell her!" because he wanted Blair to know what he's done. He could've just punch Chuck and walk away. He helped her on NYU and wanted to be her date thinking that'd help her fit in and feel better. And in season 4, well, really? He helped her about every and each problem she had, comforted her over it in almost every episode, returned her that job at W, made her feel better about her Chuckssues again, and in s5...well I really don't want to write an essay on that topic even though I should. More attempts to reunite Chair in order to make her happy, avoiding to confront her about his own feelings for the same reason, running away with her..well "being for you completely and without questioning" , he pretty much summed it up.Posted 2/9/2012 3:48:02 AM #

Woah ! This is a bit crazy. I agree that Dair and Chair fans will never agree , Dan and Chuck being a hate figure depending on who you ship. I am a Chair fan but I can see that the writers will give Dair a go - whether it will work out or not we will have to wait and see.
However I will take issue with the fact that Dan cares more for Blair than Chuck does. Again lets go back to the start - Dan hated Blair and eveything she stood for in the UES . As recently as last season he posted a video on Blairs birthday of her drunk singing because of Jenny. He tried to take her down like last year. Since then - yes they have developed a relationship and a really good one at that. But let's be honest for about three or four years Dan didn't like Blair at all and saw her as an obstacle in his relationship with Serena. That hasn't been the case with Chuck and Blair - that last scene in the pilot said it all with Chuck and Blair standing there together at the end. Dan loves this Blair - the less bitchy one. But that isn't who she is , she is Queen B and has the ability to be dark - He doesn't love that Blair as three years have shown . To totally rewrite the history of the show to say Dan has cared for Blair more than Chuck is looking through rose tinted glasses .
