I do agree that his character is a little odd for me. He would probably be fine if he didn't talk and purse his lips the way he does.

ugh i hate him! he is almost as bad as aaron! i would be worse, but i don't thin a guy could be worse than aaron was. he just showed up at the seder like a complete stalker. and the next promo shows he is not only annoying but a skank (and the end of the episode to).
btw - chuck's comment (the best of the episode) where he asks gabriel if he has any hash... does anyone else think that it might be hinting that gabriel is a tobacco heir? i think they said he was once upon a time, but it was a really, really long time ago and the sls have changed since then.

I thought the hash line was so funny and I think the tobacco heir is very believable.
He does talk really strange and I already HATE him.
I think he and Poppy are planning somthing against Serena, like Poppy getting mad and leaving Spain was all an act or maybe G and S are really married but he tells S that they arn't so then he can take all her money.
AHHHHHHHHHHH! I am getting so frustrated just talking about him!

I really just want to see Serena happy in a relationship for once, even if it's not with Dan. Well, she might be happy in this relationship for now... but we all know eventually...
I feel like the writers are really lacking when casting/creating potential love interests. They really need to stop introducing characters in one episode, and kicking them out two-three episodes later. It's really not enough time to make viewers believe in these relationships. They just seem forced and fake because there is so little time taken to develop not only the character but the relationship as well.
Ah well, maybe Gabriel will get less annoying? I don't know. All I know is that Aaron was annoying too.
