I also like the Bass men working together because it shows that they work alone to destroy their family. I also like Chuck and Blair and cannot wait for the season finale for when Chuck wins. Louis may be the prince but Chuck is going to be the knight and shining armor that rescue Blair from Russell.

Honestly, did anyone else think that it was going to be Jack Bass stepping out of the darkness and not Russell Thorpe? I thought maybe it was too good to be true for Jack to help Chuck, and the think about Chuck on the edge of the building was something that happened with Chuck, Blair, and Jack.
I was relieved to see that Jack was genuine though. That episode from Season 2 was one of my favorites, beautiful Chuck and Blair moment, but also funny.
Blair: "You idiot! You don't surprise someone standing at the edge of a building!"
There are some pretty funny quotes from gossip girl. Remember that this show is more or a guilty pleasure than anything, so a corny cutesy ending with "Dair" would defeat the purpose of the show to me, and also prove my point that you can ALWAYS ruin a good thing if you drag it on for too long.
I stopped watching in Season 3 around the beginning, because it was just no where near as good as seasons 1 and 2! (Especially adding Hilary Duff: one of the WORST actresses to have ever existed). But then I downloaded all of Season 3 on itunes and got hooked again, but they need to find their way back to the way things were! Call me sentimental.

Yup, that's the right answer. I saw this discussion on IMDb about how epic the writer from Dawson's Creek was because he had the balls to make Pacey and Joey endgame...in spite of Dawson being J's soulmate. They tried to state their case for Dair by using this example. Fine, I get it, but what they failed to mention is that the bigger badass always gets the girl. In the above mentioned case, Pacey is more of a BMF than Dawson. And we all know Chuck is the BMF of this show (along with Jack, naturally) and Dan, well, is pretty fucking boring. Again, I say to all the DAIR shippers, if you wanted dull, just continue on with your lives. In the end, I guess I could care less if Chair happens...I just want Chuck to be well, Chuck. Loved him in S1 hitting on Serena, smoking a joint in the bathroom while wearing his Bass sweater. Call me sentimental.

The difference between Pacey and Chuck is that Chuck is just an ass. Pacey never hurt his girlfriend or sold her for a piece of property. Things Pacey did do, however: slept with a teacher (not saying this is a redeeming quality, but it parallels Dan and Ms. Carr), punched men for disrespecting women he cares about, stopped things with Joey even though they still obviously have strong feelings for one another.
... Also, does Seth Cohen ring a bell? Ultimate nice guy.

You say that like it's a bad thing. But, I have to give it to you with the Seth Cohen thing. I'll compromise...Seth Cohen while not a BMF, was funny, and funny is entitled to tap that ass.

Sigh, I do wish Bass would throw down more...that being said, Dan's still a bitch. Being a complete bore negates any badassery he may have gained from punching Chuck. Now if Dan had a personality and punched Chuck, I may give you that one.
