bigger badass always gets the girl. In the above mentioned case, Pacey is more of a BMF than Dawson. And we all know Chuck is the BMF of this show (along with Jack, naturally) and Dan, well, is pretty fucking boring. Again, I say to all the DAIR shippers, if you wanted dull, just continue on with your lives.WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!???!?!?!?!? Pacey and Chuck are not the same!!!! Chuck didn't have any sibblings or family and Pacey had his family, not perfect I know, but Gretchen ruled she was his rock! And so was Doug! Pacey was poor! Pacey failed at school! Pacey was frickin sweet with everybody, trying to make peace with Dawson all the time. Pacey loved Joey, gave her away most of the time, thinking he wasn't good enough for her. Pacey and Joey had three months in the open sea on the boat Pacey made with his own hand ! Pacey and Joey had a meaningfull relationship and Pacey accepted to wait!!!Pacey felt sorry for everything he did wrong(even when it wasn't his fault), CRYING ABOUT IT MOST OF THE TIME. You are comparing the most sensitive guy in history with CHUCK FREAKIN BASS.....GET OUT JUST GET OUT!

and Chuck punching nonliving thing like glass window negate any left over so call "badassery" he have left, if he have some balls, at least go punch Louis or something although that would probably bring more disaster to his already disastrous life

Being a complete bore negates any badassery he may have gained from punching Chuck. Now if Dan had a personality and punched Chuck, I may give you that one.
Dan does have a personality. He's well-read, likes films and is interesting, charming and actually funny in an understated way. I can't say anything about anyone else, but I think one could have an interesting conversation with Dan Humphrey. Dan has emotional maturity and depth, which is very endearing. You don't have to be an over-the-top caricature to be interesting.
Chuck Bass on the other hand doesn't have much interesting going on for him besides his business/financial woes and his family problems. There is a reason all his plot lines revolve around his mummy/daddy issues/business or Blair Waldorf. I personally think spending half an hour with Chuck Bass would be complete torture if someone intends to keep their pants on for that duration.
If mumbled, garbled speaking, coloured suits and a penchant for alcohol and substances an interesting character make, then life is a pretty dull affair.

Dan : He would probably console you, ask you what is wrong, order pizza, make you laugh...Being nice without asking anything...
Chuck : He would be talking mostly about his own bad day, and watch out if you still got your V-card, because he might take advantage of that weak moment to get it on with another NYC virgin

Sorry I overreacted.... But you have to know that my ulitmate all time forever ship is Pacey and Joey...So it's very important to me that they stay sacred forever...Even if Blair and Dan ressembles them, they have mountains to climb before being even close to Pacey and Joey....

Look, I'm not comparing Pacey to Chuck, because Chuck is far more lengendary. What I was saying was, the edgier dude got the girl in the case of Dawson's Creek.

I think you are mistaking real life for complelling tv. In real life, we might go back to our shitty apartments and wax philosophical with Humdrum Humphrey. With fantasy, I expect a little bit more. Any Joe Schmucketelli can be Dan, but there is only one Chuck Bass. He has a catch phrase for fuck's sake. Chuck wins because HE'S CHUCK BASS.
