   I know this has been posted already but I'm really excited .  I know they are saying that it's a 'maybe' but a really good maybe .  let's celebrate loves ! Season 4 bitches . Also is it just me or even though season  3 is bearable , doesn't it feel like a filler and possibly crazier/better thngs can come in a new season once they get past the hurdle of freshmen at college etc ?

    

   Ashley P. in Illinois: I am so sorry to bother you, but I keep hearing that the CW will cancel Gossip Girl. Do you know what the real deal is? I hope that the show is not getting canceled. This is my favorite show. Please let me know what the truth is.

   The CW ordering another year of Gossip Girl is one of the few sure things in this world. Even with that network's overall ratings troubles, Gossip Girl is a winner for them, both creatively and economically. Don't worry your pretty little head about it for another minute!

   i am quite sure that they will definiteley do another season.a fifth season seems pretty realistic as well,but about a sixth i am not too sure.so i bet there'll be five seasons

   yeah that seems like a safe bet . 5 seems like a good number . most of the cast said 4 was a good number so we'll see .

   I'll join this party!! I was really excited to hear about this, too. I'm not ready to give up watching Chuck Gossip Girl yet. lol This shiatus is bad enf.

   Its kind of addictive, I just dont get it they win more wins then most programmes, but the have bad ratings. How is this possible?

   I agree but since it isn't truly a family drama (like some of my other favorite shows back in the day), I'd love to see it end sooner than later...so that the actors can get on to something better.

   (That's why I hope "Chuck Bass"/Gossip Girl isn't the end-all for Ed's career especially.  I'd love to see him in better roles than just that, and to be better than just another Luke Perry or something.)

   If it ends with some stupid, contrived break up for Chair, then I will seriously consider not watching S4...even if I'll miss watching Eddie boy.

   Do you mean if they break up in general or just if the writers do it in the worst possible way ? haha
