I really hope there will be a season 5 and the only reason ratings for yesterday were so low was cuz of the unloyal fans who decided not to watch because of the whole chuck/jenny uk promo.

And I can't believe that One Tree Garbage has a better ratings then GG!just wow last night ratings: GG 1,76 OTH 2,12 wow And you know,I'm a little bit scared!
that scared me too. i used to love oth, but this season is awful.
and last night's epi was really amazing, the best in s03 IMO.

People dont think GG will last more than 4 seasons because each season the ratings have been getting lower. I personally think GG can get a 5th season because WB/CBS (the owners of The CW) make money off of the the CW shows through DVD, itunes, and syndication and not through advertising like all the other networks. They also make money off of the two clothing lines that are inspired by GG. If we take that into account WB/CBS make a lot of money off of GG. Like I have said before, if 90210 got renewed for a 3rd season I think GG can get renewed for a 5th season. 90210 has the WORST ratings (not including MP, which is dead) they don't even do good in the women demo. The only reason 90210 got renewed is because the CW makes around 2 mill per episode in syndication.

Season 4 will most likely be the last season just like The OC. The OC got cancelled in the middle of Season 4 though so...

i don't think gg will get cancelled,because of their huge fanbase all over the world!
it is one of the only shows that people from many different countries watch regularly

Well at this moment we still have a whole season to enjoy. I am not very worried about season 5 when we still have season 4 first.

well, i've been seeing SOOOOO many articles about One Tree Hill being in danger of being cancelled and not one about gossip girl. i'm not worried AND worried at the same time. is that possible?

But of course GG can go past 4 seasons. I mean look at Family Guy. It was cancelled, twice I think, but it was revived through DVD sales and fans' complaints. And look how many seasons it has now...8. One Tree Hill has also gone thus far also. Though I'm not comparing GG to either of these shows, it just goes to show that if you have faith in something, that faith never dies. Yk? I suspect Season 5 will be the season with the most changes, I mean DRASTIC, like an important character dying (eg. someone like Cece? God forbid) or Blair dying her hair or something. You get the picture, though right now I can't actually see a Gossip Girl DVD marked "season 5" I have no doubts that it can go to infinity and beyond. Besides, the GG books have been around for 7 years, so ha. ^_^

Well at this moment we still have a whole season to enjoy. I am not very worried about season 5 when we still have season 4 first.

i mean people upset me i love gossip girl but people at the end if they dont get what they want they just dont see it I MEAN IT JUST SUCKS
i would never in my life doubt if i watch gg or not
i've been watching gg since 1x01 every week never missed one ep
