Exactly! I think adults should just chill out and look back to when they were our age but you know the stuff they have on tv now isn't like what they had on back then but you get my point. Teenagers don't just run out and do things just because they see it on tv..i think this whole conundrum is just a way for adults to try and control us. I don't know, just my opinion...

I find this whole thing fuckery. I'm fourteen and just because I watch Gossip Girl doesn't mean I'm going to go try to have sex right away. That's just fucking stupid. Some adults just don't getanything, or their minds are deluded by the fact that their child may be influenced because a fictional TV show has sex in it.

I'm fourteen too, and honestly, are these people so stupid that they think, "Oh, this innocent child, who would not have been exposed to sex had it not been for bad shows like Gossip Girl, will want to have a threesome now!" I wish I had a good reason like GG to lose my virginity as a teenager.
But no, just peach schnapps and raging hormones.
But if I could go back and blame it on a TV show, I would hope that it was as cool as GG :-)

For the record, Gossip girl DOES make me want to have a threesome with Ed Westwick and Penn Badgley. But is that such a crime??

...and when you do, please make sure everyone around you knows that it's because of GG and the CW!! BECAUSE OF COURSE THAT'S THE REASON!!
lol, only kidding of course. GG might make me want to jump Ed and Penn, but in real life, I think the couples in my neighborhood are safe. For now anyway....

I know 7th graders in my middle school who've lost their virginity and brag about it. More power to them; it's not like they've watched Gossip Girl and decided, "Oh my God, they make sex look so amazing, I'ma go do it!"
Plus, whether or not you're influenced easily by Gossip Girl, there's that whole big hassle with having to find someone who will sex you.
Just kidding.

I thinkg the parents council whatever is totallly overreacting.
its not the CW's fault who watches the show.
it already tells you its mature at should be for older people.
they warned you, so its pretty much your own fault.
you cant just ask them to change it because you think people are having sex watching it .
if they were having sex, theyd be too busy to even watch gossip girl !

anyways, im pretty young but watchign the show doesnt make me want to have sex!
it just makes the plot line more interesting !

woah grade 5? when i was your guys' age i was so naive and ignorant to the world of sex or any of that stuff really. but looking back i'm glad i was. i read the book "forever" by judy blume when i was 13 and WOW...first book i ever read with a sex scene and i had NOO idea what was going on. i was so confused. thank GAWD i didnt ask my mom...that would have been extremely awkward.
