Holy Crap...

Sex is everywhere these days, there is not point in attempting to put an end to it. They are deluded if they think that their children are that easily influenced and if that is the case then heres looking at them because their ability to correctly parent their children is obviously the problem. Blaming Gossip Girl, the CW, television or society in general is not going to change the fact that their children are going to have sex whether or not they see it on tv, read it in a sex ed book or are told about it from the parents themselves.

Also whats this shit about the characters in GG not experiencing the consequenses of their exploits!  Blair's pregnancy scare and the damaging of both Serena and Blair's friendship and Nate and Blair's relationship in S1 were all results of sex (despite their eventual resolving of the issues). And I am sure that this threesome will also have consequences. They obviously haven't watched the show and have only heard about this threesome in the media otherwise they would present stronger arguments!

All I have to say to the PTC is good luck!

Although I'm in Aus and I watch the show online, I am given the impression that Gossip Girl airs later on at night in America? (9 o'clock in the evening is it?) Here in Aus, by 8.30pm they're allowed to play shows that include coarse language, drugs use and sex scenes. A threesome is hardly any worse than a hot and heavy sex scene between two people. And knowing the writers, they'll probably cover it up, and imply it was a threesome rather than actually show it eg. the three people (Dan, Olivia and Vanessa I think we've established through the process of elimation) will probably be shown crawling into bed together, and then wake up in the next scene in bed together, naked.

And besides, I am sure today's generation of teens have done a lot worse than partake in a threesome. Sex is basically a given nowadays; most teens have already experienced it.  The people who wrote this letter are bored with their own stupid lives and just want to find something to complain about. If they're not ok with it, they can stop their children from watching it.

^ [i'm not chuck bass without you] I'm in Australia to and seriously we have some preety racy stuff on our TV. Exactly sex scenes are on at 8:30 and some really shocking language aswell, I rarely hear complaints about it either.

I just really cannot understand how parents could think taking a show off of TV is going to solve societies and teenagers raging hormones and crave for sex.

Haha awesome GraceKelly! Where are you from?

If they are so concerned about the content of the show, they should just have one of those warnings at the beginning of the show (don't know what they do in the US) but the ones here go, "Channel 7 would like to advise that this show is for mature audiences. It contains coarse language, sex scenes and drugs, and is not suitable for children under the age of 15...." something like that. Also don't they have ratings on the shows? Like M15+, PG, R? So on so forth..

This is a commercial that airs in France on a daily basis.

    Suck it, PTC.

exactly! if they want teenagers to stop having sex they need to medicate them and take away their liquor, that would solve a lot of problems right there!

And really, there are worse things your teenager can do than have a threesome. Like perhaps... oh I don't know, KILL SOMEONE?!!? GET ARRESTED?!?! BLOW UP A BUILDING?!?!?

Bitches need to get their priorities in order, that's all I'm sayin...

the CW should be obligated to warn us about an upcoming threesome between a hot dude, a troll and a flabby-armed actress because it might make us VOMIT.

Not becuase it might make us want to have a threesome. If anything the PTC should be supporting this, I might never have sex again after watching lady dreadlocks getting down and dirty.

I know. I have family in Europe and I am shocked by the amount of nudity and sex in their TV shows/movies. But I guess they don't care so much over there...you don't see their kids getting pregnant at the age of 12.

And it's totally like drinking! In France, the legal drinking age is 16! French people, smoke, drink, and have a lot more sex than any other nationality and yet they're still HEALTHIER and live longer than most other nationalities. Why is that? I think the more rules your enforce, the more likely they will be broken .

I can think of one positive that could come from this, more publicity for the show. More publicity equals more people tuning in.
