Sex continues to be the main source of concern for parents. The show conveys the message that sex is a tool used to manipulate people. For instance, early in the season, Blair and Chuck add spice to their relationship by getting beautiful women to sexually tempt Chuck so that Blair can play the scorned girlfriend and humiliate the women in front of him. Real consequences are non-existent in this fantasy world and the characters play musical chairs with their sex-partners, but suffer no physical or psychological ramifications. Though graphic simulated sex scenes are only sprinkled throughout the season, there are plenty of provocative kissing scenes, erotic situations, and skimpy clothing. Drugs and alcohol are omnipresent on the show though none of the characters are legally old enough to drink. Language on the show can be problematic at times with frequent use of the words “whore,” “ass,” “bitch,” “slut,” “screw,” “damn,” and “hell.” Violence is generally not a problem, though the previous season contained an attempted sexual assault and occasional brief fist fights.
1.show conveys the message that sex is a tool used to manipulate people...This is such a generalisation. The show has probably done this once or twice with C/B. They also show it as something that is special and occurs between two people who love each other (I know thats sounds cliche).
2. Real consequences are non-existent in this fantasy ...They obviously don't know anything about the show becasue there have been consequences and I have listed them before! But also they say it themselves this is a FANTASY WORLD!! These storylines are fictional, the characters are fictional. If the PTC or their children are unable to determine the difference between reality and fantasy then their are clearly larger issues at hand then what they are watching on TV.
2. there are plenty of provocative kissing scenes, erotic situations, and skimpy clothing. ...I wish there was more of this, we get NOTHING this season! As for skimpy clothing, that all on Serena.
2. frequent use of the words “whore,” “ass,” “bitch,” “slut,” “screw,” “damn,” and “hell.” ..I would hardly call it frequent, maybe occasionally but you probably hear worse words out on the street than in the 1 hour GG is on TV. Also why the hell!!! is "hell" on that list???
3. The previous season contained an attempted sexual assault...Yeaa it did *nods head and rolls eyes* and if you ask me thats a hell of a good issue to present to teenagers. Kids can't remain in their safe little bubble all their life and things like sexual assault do happen. Wouldn't they rather have their children learn about these dangers on TV than from personal experience.
it seriously irks me when people blame an aspect of society for their own problems. If they are so concerned about their children having sex or threesomes, wearing skimpy clothing or using bad language etc. then maybe they should be looking at how they raised their children. We all have an individual responsibility over our own lives and as a parent over our childrens until they reach a certain age and therefore it is not right to soley blame something like television for societies faults.
This is so ridiculous but it really does make them sound crazy... its laughable really!

The only reason they are complaining is because they really have never been in a threesome before.. Gosh, it's a daily life experience people, that's what GG is about! Holy lordy.. Gosh..
