    if bart is dead then why, in season 3 after serena's accident, did chuck have flashbacks of walking into a hospital and sseing his father die? massive hole there, which points to the latter half of this season somehow being an alternate reality, shit just doesn't make sense

    Sink-or-Swim, a lot of people obviously didn't think he was dead back in 2008 (see first few pages of the thread).  Silly plot device is silly, LOL!

     

    Nevertheless, given what a cesspool the show has become since his demise, glad he's back.
