How Do You Feel About Jenny?
-
Personally, I'm conflicted. I like Taylor (she's a good actress) but I feel like the writers don't know what to do with her character. Which is sad because Jenny has potential to be an interesting character.
I feel like at the beginning of Season 1 she was likeable but by the end of Season 1 she wasn't.
Then they did the same thing to Jenny in Season 2. She was really cool and interesting in the first half of the season, but by the finale I hated her again. I mean, she was actually going to use that gossip about Blair and Jack to become queen next year???

I agree. Season 1 first half, definatly potential and i was willing to give her a chance. I think the character just went down from there , always just there to be there, no real storylines , or intersting anything, imo. Season 2, the whole fashion thing, it had not much if anything to contribute and just was used as screen time for jenny. Nothing against taylor, but jenny has never been anything fun to watch to me.
If they can give her and actual purpose in season 3, i could grow to like her again. And they can fix her hair and makeup :) && have more jenny and eric scenes, deff cute together

I liked her in most of Season 1 and then the whole "I'm-too-hip-for-prep" in Season 2 was the dullest thing in the world. Who cares? I don't.
I liked when she was striving to be something but now she's just irritating. She's not actually got a reason to exist other than that reviews make fun of her and it's amusing. I can't actually think of one scene other than when she apologized to Eric that had any significance to me. The thing with her and Nate was just awkward.

I don't like the character Jenny. In the first season, she was okay. But the totally pointless SL in Season 2 about the "I become a famous designer! Oh wait, no I want to go back to high school" story just sucked. I hope she'd less screentime in season 3. But, as for the most thinks I hoped for this show, I guess that's not happening.

i like jenny at least she has a definite char. unlike vanessa... they are stealing her screentime to mix vanessa with ues but i d rather have jenny storylines..she s so much potential but is underused just like Eric imo

I love Jenny as well. I just hate her with Nate. I think she has great story lines and I never get bored watching her.

Who totally loved Jenny when she bitched out Chuck about his actions to her in the first episode? I suure did. It made me really respect her character.
And when Chuck apologized to her and Taylor got those tears coming- good acting on her part. I think I'll like her even more come season 3 because she'll get her own storyline- one without as much interference of the older GG cast

Are you kidding? I love Jenny. She's one of my favorite characters, since she's actually believable, you know? I'm not saying Blair isn't believable, even the rest of NJBC and Dan, but Jenny reminds me a lot of myself. She's desperate to fit in, but at the same time, she has her own unique style and personality.
I didn't like her so much in season one, but season two made me love her. Especially her Jate storyline, which was actually interesting, and a good match. It had a lot of the Vanessa drama (barf), and the Dan drama, which made it realistic and angsty. Her designer SL was great, too.
Really, I don't understand why everyone else hates her, but I'm happy that she's queen this season. She'll be great, albeit with some mess-ups, which is what makes me love her.

I think jenny is an interesting character and the way taylor acts her is soooo good because teenagers really do act that way. Her best scene has to be with chuck. But she is as Emilee said believable.I really hope that we can see some more of her in S3.
