How do you guys think GG is and why

I was just wondering who you guys thought Gossip Girl was. Do you think she/he is part of the main cast or is just someone who goes to the same school. Discuss your opnions on who you guys think it may be. Heres my opinion:

I think Gossip Girl is actually dan Humphrey , he was named the 'ultimate insider' and the blogs all started in 9 th grade and they were about serena and wasnt that when dan actually really started liking serena. He was always on the blog in season 1 and most of the posts were about serena. He doesnt like the upper east side that much , He was best mates with nate and not a lot of posts were about nate!! You guys may think that he is or isnt GG but i think its a pretty good conclusion.

it can't be dan, i mean he sees the post about jenny and nate, and is in shock. There's no way he could have posted it. I don't think gossip girl is any of the main characters, and i don't really think she'll ever make an appearance on the show. but i really do wish she would send out more blasts this season.

Before we find out who GG is in the show, we have to discover who he\she is in the books. But yeah, I think it's like an outsider. In the books first I thought it was Chuck because he wasn't really a main character but he was "there" and sort of knew everything about anyone. But I could be wrong....

I think it's Georgina. Remember, in the season 2 finale they said that the first post was about Serena so it was probably someone in their class. And Georgina was always obsessed with Serena.

In the books, I thought GG was Serena, as Gossip Girl began with her disappearance (prequel), and then started again with her reappearance (series). Also, the series on Blair and Serena ended with GG writing that she was staying in NYC, as Serena also decided on doing.

However, I think that Cecily von Ziegesar stated in an interview that GG was just someone anonymous, or at least a metaphor for society and the global community.

As the series portrays it, I don't think GG is any of the main characters. I don't think we'll ever find out. I loved the parts of the series in which it seemed like you were about to find out, as well as the TV series finale in which Serena tried to hunt her down... it's just a great mystery.

Great question. I'd like to see more of GG in season 3 though... I feel that the removal of GG is what is lacking. It used to be a major plot-driver, and delivered some unforgettable OMFG moments.

I have a feeling that it has to do something with Carol (Lily's sister).

i think lilys sister is dead and that she would killed from keith!
