Everyone is so extremely pissed at Chuck. For what he did/ is doing tonight.

I mean, I am so disappointed in him, But it is pretty much expected. Chuck can't be sweet Mr.Perfect forever. But this is pretty much the worst he can do. But I don't want Chair to never happen again.

I don't hate Chuck for it. He is being selfish, But This is the first thing he's done in a while and he made quite a streak.

So, does ANYONE think that Chuck isn't the biggest monster on GossipG irl right now?

Yup. Me. I think the title "biggest monster" is reserved for someone else. Someone with bigger hair who hides a scarf in it.^^

No seriously: Wasn't it obvious that Chuck and Blair had to suffer soon again? Everything was way to good for them.

the writers intended to make chuck all saintly and mature on the first half this season for this fucked up storyline to play out.

Chuck has always been an ass. I've said this before and I will say this again: he's regressing. just like blair did in the first half of the season (just worse in his case. when blair regressed she got a kiss from chuck. when he regressed what he got was a bitchslap. he deserved it though. he needed a wake up call.). just like serena.

i will say this. again.

the writers should've never played this storyline. they're just as twisted as chuck. maybe worst.

but since you're all hating on the bass now, i'll just post this (again) from fanforum just to give a different insight.

My two cents - I think it's important before we judge any of the characters, to examine their mental stability. Chuck is effed in the head in this episode. You expect him to act rationally? It's like when Blair lost it all and slept with Carter, then decided to shop lift, then ruin her reputation at that society party. When you're emotionally exhausted and dead inside, you stop caring about everything that's important to you.Sounds to me like Chuck just stopped caring about life.

I agree, but i think it could have been handled more tactfully. It's not what happened that got at me, just everything before it, they made a complete U-turn with his character that made no sense.

I'm gonna be honest what Chuck did, did give him the title of 'biggest monster', you would do more than just slap a guy if he did that to you. But that doesn't make me go 'well thats it i hate him' and 'no hope for chair', it just means things will be a bit more messed up and a lot more interesting.

haha, i don't think he's a monster but i think he is being made out to be the monster for the meantime but then as i said before there is more to it then there seems to be.

i actually see blair and chuck on the same shitty level... FINALLY. cause really? how is what he did to her so different than what she did to him with that lame same kiss storyline?

but i'm excited for a chair break. but i hope both of them take a while before trying again.

i haven't seen the full episode yet, but i've watched the clips, and as far as i'm concerned Chuck isn't a monster. He's been through so much in the past year or so, finding/losing his mother, his father dying, is there any wonder that he's just a little bit screwed up in the head? lets face it, he hasn't had an entirely normal upbringing, and considering he's only been in one romantic relationship in his whole life, he hasn't had a lot of experience. its a screwed up story line, but it brings the drama that GG needs to keep the show alive. i'm a chair fan, but i'm glad they're breaking up, at least its interesting
