So what If Ed or Chace made a sex tape. Would it have made a bigger deal then Leighton making one.. or not so surprising.

It would've made a bit of a splash maybe but not as big as any other person. Look at all the sex tapes ever been made. Guess who gets bashed on the most? The girls.

Tommy Lee, Ray J, Dustin Diamond, Rob Lowe, Tom Sizemore, and plenty others made a sex tape and they suffer nothing from it.
But Paris Hilton, Pamela Anderson, Kim Kardashian, Leighton Meester, and all these other girls get demeaned and completely trashed by the public.
Society's totally biased now and it's highly disappointing.
(Sorry, went way off topic-ish and king of got way into it. XD)

I don't think they would get bashed against that much.
Like Chair&Serenate said, the girls are always getting bashed the most. If a girl sleeps with a lot of guys, she's considered a slut. However, if a guy sleeps with a lot of girls, that's okay.
it doesn't make sense to me at all.

You're so right Chair&Serenatefan, its completely biased. No ones going to promote making sex tapes, but i lthink leighton should'nt be totally taken down by everyone, mistakes are mistakes. I'm deff not going to let this stop me from caring about my fav actress. I wouldnt if it were chace or ed either.

And thank you leighED I'm fully supportive of her still. It's in the past. It's not like she's bragged about it before it's release. It was obviously meant to be private and whatnot.
Plus, sex is normal. It's not like a lot of us haven't done it, and for those who have, the only difference is she taped it. That and she's a celebrity. I wouldn't be surprised if someone here has taped themselves - not in THIS thread specifically but in general on the site. They don't get sh!t for it because they're regular citizens. But she's a celebrity and a girl and all of a sudden it's a HUGE deal.
As hard as it is for you all to believe sex tapes ARE normal. You just don't know about it because not everyone is famous and some people are a bit smarter about keeping it on the low. Just saying.

It's so biased, if a girl makes a sex tape its "classless and tasteless". Sex tapes are normal, its apart of life, and I wish the bashing of Leighton would stop.
If it was a guy it wouldn't be a big deal. So whats the big deal if a woman makes it?

My point exactly! Thank you! So many people are closed-minded and just don't see it. They're completely adament about thrashing the girls rather than the guys which I find completely baffling but at least I know I'm not the only one who sees it this way! :D

I don't really get sex tapes much. I mean I guess it is an "erotic" thing for one person to do with their significant other, but when do you watch it?
Do you just get bored one night after dinner and say, "Hey honey, remember that tape we made? Let's watch it. Put some popcorn in the microwave."
