I wonder how GG would deal with their storylines if some of the characters had gone to Yale, especially with this drama going on in real life...

I'm sure they would have had to halt production, but what is the point of this thread exactly? They aren't filming at Yale, simple as that.
NYU is in the 6th precident and borders the 9th, so should GG comment every time a rape, robbery, etc. etc. happens at NYU? Statistics:

I was just being hypothetical because if they had been filming in New Haven, portraying a nonchalant/uneventful Yale campus on a GG wouldn't have been current to what's happening in the real world.
Of course ironically they're NOT filming at Yale, so its not a problem for the show.

And so ofcourse I come in and make my obligatory mention of sex.
Now I have to bring up again how much i'm pissed that Serena and Nate got into ivy league schools, whereas Dan and Blair, the only ones who ever gave a shit about really getting into one, and actually worked their asses off in school for their future, didn't, what ticks me off even more is how now Serena is ditching the oppurtunity to go to her dream ivy league school....
Blair should strangle her for this, especially considering what she went through when she non-deliverately lost Yale, Serena is literally throwing away her chance to go to Brown which she never really worked for, god how unfair.

i am sorry, i have to say thins. bfan - it is not ironic that they aren't filming at yale. at all. that isn't irony. sorry, but it is one of my pet peeves when people say somethig is ironic when it is not but instead it is just some interesting turn of events or funny happenstance or whatever. but them not fimling at yale is absolutely not ironic.

lmao well i see what you did there with the joke you tossed in but i dont' think that part was the 'morbid' part lol i meant the thread itself. it's got no bearing on anything and to draw comparisons is just kinda pointless and a little mean towards the real tragedy but whatever.
and yesss i agree with you 110%. in fact i said it somewhere on this board before. i mean the nate thing is ironic since he's got the IQ of melted butter but serena? come on! what she did with her attention whoring exploits should surely get her brown card revoked if what blair did to the fourth chipmunk gets her 'yale privlege' taken away.
