I enjoyed his Nate's sl also. And, idk I was kinda glad he didn't let himself get sucked back in to Serena's hole. Even though, I must admit it felt weird not having Nate run to Serena's rescue right away...but I was glad it happened.
I agree. However, I'm glad for different reasons :P

I loved Nate's storyline. Finally they're giving him something to do besides hook up with a different girl and look hot. I missed his family drama so much. And I'm really glad he pointed out how Serena just pulls people back in like that and he wasn't going to let it happen to him. Everything he said was 100% true and I can't blame him for a second for not wanting to get involved in all that again.

I'm wondering if his whole not getting sucked back into Serena's hole is just a red herring to make us think that, especially to make it seem like that it will be Dan who's going to get back together with her, only to have it be Nate at some point way down the line, if the show goes on long enough for that to happen, that is.

Agreed. I am starting to get really annoyed with Serena too. This season seems really bad at this. She has a new guy every day. Yet Blair, who is equally as gorgeous and smarter, can't have one single boyfriend other than Chuck? I guess that goes along with the thing that Serena takes everything from her, but come on. She is just sooooo naive. I literally think they portray her as stupid. I liked her the first two seasons and felt for her when she was searching for her dad. Now, she just annoys me. Give someone else a major storyline that doesn't revolve around choosing between Dan and Nate. :P

I agree, but it appears that she’s the main character of the show. It’s clear that most of the SL involve her. So I think we’ll continue to see the show focus on her a lot. I think that after that rumor saying that Blake wanted to leave the show, etc the producers offered her more onscreen time or bigger SL. We all remember what happened to the O.C. after Marissa was killed off the show. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but the covers of GG DVDs, whatever color is Serena’s clothes, it’s the color that appears on the banner that reads Gossip Girl; that itself it’s a cue that Serena’s the star :S

what is happening between Dan & Serena now?
can't call it friends, because they kissed.
