Is Gossip Girl better than Glee?

Right now, I think it is. GG has improved post hiatus and Glee is getting really annoying, imo. With all the meaningless singing. And they keep abandoning main character storylines.
What do you guys think?

umm i only watched glee for several ep.. didn't continue it.. is it so good?i kind a like sue.. but for comical reason only.
yes gg from hiatus is getting better and better. seems the writers listens to our rant. lol. especially from 3x15 to now. it was great.

hell yeah! GG is better than Glee.
SLs are better, deeper and there aren't lame show tunes involved in GG!
dont get me wrong, i also love glee. i like some of the songs they feature on the show.
but most of the time, they just give me goosebumps (THE BAD KIND!) cause of their exaggerated "gleekiness"!
another plus for GG, the actors are DOWNRIGHT AMAZING!

hell nah GG isn't better than glee.
Glee has Sue Sylvester which is better and makes more sense in two scenes than all of season 3.
just cause the writing is 'better' doesn't take away from the stinkfest the writers have made it

I love Glee, and Gossip Girl: BUT, Glee was better PRE hiatus, and i think Gossip Girl is better POST hiatus.
I loved first 13 episodes of glee. all of them, and i really liked madonna ep, but the ep home was really annoying and boring imo, and this last episode was better, but i found that the SL's were better in beginning, but i still love glee a lot!!!!!!
and Gossip Girl terrible first half but now all the charcters interact, their SL interwine, and the OMG storylines have a meaning behind them, not just a rating stint, but im really liking these GG episodes!!

I love both shows. But the episode 'Home' with that April character was probably the worst episode of the whole season. It dragged on with all those sad solos and ballads by April. IMO they shouldn't have dedicated a whole episode to her, she's not even that interesting :/
But, having said that, I absolutely LOVED the Madonna centred episode, and the most recent one 'Bad Reputation' I think it was called? Amazing. The only thing I will critique though is that the writers don't spend enough time developing the relationships. Like Puckleberry...how long did that last, like 10 seconds? And it was completely out of the blue! Same with Fin..they dated for half an episode, and then in the next scene Finn had dumped Rachel and she was singing a duet with Jesse! (Not that I'm complaining, he's an absolute babe ;D). The ep straight after that one, Rachel was already considering losing her virginity to a guy she had only been dating for a week? Having sex for the first is a big deal! And then in the last ep, they broke up :S Over what? Rachel featured two other guys in a video clip. WTF! I don't get that at all. Pretty sure Jesse's got something up his sleeve though. Cheeky, sexy little bugger :P
I really wish they had shown Rachel on a first date with Jesse..their whole relationship was rushed.
And what is up with Quinn's belly? Isn't she like 7-8 mths pregnant now? Shouldn't she be like a balloon?! She's hardly got a stomach.
[end rant]
Contrarily, I've been enjoying GG a lot more...but only because bitchy Serena is back..and that's the only time she is actually entertaining. The other characters need better storylines. I want a pregnancy in GG! (Not Dorota, rather a main character)

i dont think glee and gg are in the same field. i mean, i see glee more like how i see sitcoms. watching it for the fun and musical performances. while i watch GG more on the drama and SLs

Glee well and truly owns GG and has done since it started. It's fucking awesome and as wttb put has the epicness that is Sue Sylvester. This ain't even a fair question imo!Posted 5/6/2010 7:44:05 AM #
