   A lot of negative reviews so far. I love Ryan Reynolds so I might see this just for him. But the trailer looks bad. Not the best special affect iv seen.

   Well No matter how many bad reviews it gets I will still watch it for Blake and Ryan :) I think it will be good maybe not amazing but decent

   The reviewers don't really like it, but there are a lot of big names in it so a lot of people will see it anyway

   and then there are the diehard comic book fans

   Isn't the description "flop" a judgment of commercial performance?  If you're suggesting that the film might be shit, then "turkey" is a better word. 

   It's too early to judge how well the film will do seeing as it only opens today I believe.  The critics pretty much slated Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen but it still made a gazillion dollars at the box office.

   I always considered a flop to be a movie that no one saw in theatres and it made less money then it took to make it. This will make tons of money but it might win some Razzies :P 

    

   Although word of mouth gets around saying that it has a 22% rotten rating and some people will wait to rent it. So reviews sometimes carry a bit of weight

   I've always been on the fence about seeing this one.  Without knowledge of what reviewers say, it kind of looked... bad.  I could be very wrong!  However, I will most likely wait to rent it.
