Hi, this is my first time [attempt] at writing a fan-fiction. I would appreciate some feedback ;) Enjoy.

Part 1
Surrounded by people, although I can't recall a time where ive felt so alone. Its been about 5 hours since their accident. I hate waiting rooms, the name says it all Waiting.. Waiting for news on Chuck. Blair's asleep right now, poor thing. She got treated for minor injuries. But emotionally I dont think she'll ever heal. Especially now that her body is not feeding another person anymore.
it's now about 2:00am, I have gotten no sleep whatsover. Nate insists that we all go home for a few hours, get some rest and come back in early morning, but I think that would make me feel even more alone. Nate decides to leave, leaving only Me and Dan. As Mum, Lily and Rufus went home about an hour ago.
Dan looks emotionless, his efforts to cheer me up is admirable. His David Hasselholf impression, top-notch! I give a fake smile, then almost burst out into tears, and not happy ones. We are vertually sitting next to each other, he gives me a pat on the back followed by those sympathetic words ''Im here, everything will be ok''. Suddenly I felt a lot less alone. I lean on Dan and close my eyes...

Part ll
I am awoken at the sound of Dan getting up, I must of been laying on his chest for hours. Dan mumbles that he is going to see if he can find a doctor to get an update on Chuck and Blair. He takes off his jacket and sits it over my legs, I say nothing, he walks away.
I check my phone, its 5:00am on the dot. I suddenly am fully aware of what I am doing at the hospital. I can't possibly sleep now. Just as I am walking to the bathroom, I see Nate. He is dressed in grey trackpants, and a sweater. Not how im used to seeing him! About to yell, then realising im in a hospital i walk slowly over to him and give him a bear hug. He is a mess, but then again who isnt!
We begin walking to room 273, Blairs room. As we didn't want to disturb our plan was to just sit in there with her. I opened the door slowly to see Dan sitting in the hospital chair that was right next to Blair's bed. He didn't even realise we opened the door, he was that distracted, or tired. I slowly close the door, and Me and Nate begin walking back to the waiting room.
When we arrive we are greated Cyrus and Eelanor- Who got the first plane out of Paris. It's incredibly awkward, theres absolutly nothing we can say to Cyrus and Eelanor that even compares to how they must be feeling. What hurts the most is the fact that we don't know whats going on with Chuck.
It hurts so much, I feel like im drowning but ive still got breath!

Part lll
Its about 8:00am I offer to go get everybody Coffee's, but thats only an excuse to get away, and get a caffeine hit while im at it. I am finding my way out of the hospital. It's probally the biggest Private Hospital in the Upper East Side, not to mention it has the best doctors. f a quick trip to the Hospital Coffee machines that should of taken 10 minutes, I found myself at a Detour.
I step inside the Gift-Store, everything is so over-sized. One of the stuffed elephants is so big, it could be a life-size animal! I see Dan, gazing at a 'It's a girl sign'. I walk up behind him and stroke his left arm 'where have you been hiding, we were all so worried?' Dan's voice very cracky replies after a long few seconds 'I went to see Blair, then I went to get some infomation on Chuck, no new news!' insist that he comes to get Coffee with me, and that after we could go for a walk.
We begin walking out of the hospital when our phones both go off. It's a Gossip Girl blast, with a picture of Serena laying on top of Dan with there arms wrapped around eachother attached. We say nothing and decide to just get coffee and bring it back to everyone. Dan isn't acting the way he was before we fell asleep.
An update has come on Chuck, he has lost a lot of Blood. Their operating on him as we speak, when Mum (Lily) asked if Chuck was going to be ok, the doctor responded with 'Were doing everything we can'. Blair has awoken, first to see Blair is Eelanor and Cyrus.
It's now my turn to see Blair, I dont have any idea what to say, Eelanor came out crying and Cyrus wasn't too good either. I go give Eelanor and Cyrus a hug, as I hugged Cyrus he said sadly 'not enough!' Blair was a mess. Her emotions were all over the place, she kept on asking about Chuck and Louis- who was nowhere to be seen. She was also very moody, which was completly understandable. I couldn't spend long talking to her as she was very snappy. Next to see Blair was Dan...

Part lV
Patiently waiting in the waiting room sits me, Nate, Mum, Rufus, Eelanor, Cyrus, and Dorota. Dan has been in with Blair for about 1/2 an hour. That doesn't seem like long but when your timing it in seconds its internity. The nurse goes to Dorota and say's your free to see Blair now. Which means Dan must of left, the only question now is where is he?
Nobody seems all that worried about him right now, but I know how he feels about Blair and how snappy she is. I just want to know he's ok. He's not anwsering his phone, I should know so far ive left 3 messages. I desperatly am walking all around the hospital, first I check the Gift-shop. No dan. Then I check the hospital Cafeteria. No Dan. I check the outside of the hospital. No dan. I check the front of the hospital. No Dan. I check around the toilet area. No Dan.
I go back to the waiting room. Everyone is catching on to the fact that we dont know were Dan is. Mum comes to the conclusion that he probally has went back to the loft to have a shower and get into some fresh clothes. Doesn't seem like to bad of an idea, but an even better idea involves finding Dan.

Part V
I continue calling Dan, but still no anwser. I figured that he must of gone back to the loft. I wanted to kill a lot of time.. But its a hospital [ie. the place were time stands still.] Not to mention how depressing it is, except for one section of the hospital. The Maternity ward. I remember the last time I went here, it was the day after I kissed Dan. It was also the day me and Nate broke up.
I never actually made it to the Maternity Wing, it's incredibly close to the Gift-shop. Which ironically was where I found Dan. I could only see the back of him, but I could tell. As I enter I relise that he is still staring at the pink 'its a girl sign'. He notices me, I give an wave. He just stares- a wierd stare that I have never seen him do before. He was upset, really upset.
I try to comfort him and give him a hug but he pulls away. I ask whats wrong. He looked as if he had been crying. He hesitantly replied 'Why do you like me?' I ask what he means. After all it isn't everyday somebody asks you that. 'Is it because I seemed like I had everything all figured out or is it because you feel sorry for me?' Blair had odviously said something to Dan. I didn't know what to say, but I knew that whatever I said saying nothing would be worse.
I opened my mouth ''It's the way you make me feel, I feel safe. I couldn't fall asleep in just any guys lap!'' I pause for a second, suddenly Dan started to give a broken smile, I continued. ''Your so considerate, and helpful, sexy [that one kinda just slipped out], caring, your loving, your friendly, and through everything we've been through, you still their for me. Your a really beautiful person Dan''. Dan was speechless literally.. I didn't know what else to say.
He pulled a face that I never seen before, it was a sign of relief. He leant in and gave me a hug and said ''Thanks, I really needed that''. We looked into each others eyes. I so badly wanted to kiss him, but I knew how he feels about Blair, I know it would be a mistake. He gave me a kiss on the fore-head and we began walking back, hand in hand. Dan was a lot more secure.
When we finally arrived back, we found out that Blair was getting discharged. And to make things better, we had some good news on Chuck, he is out of his comba. The doctors say it will be a long road to recovery for him, but they are Highly- Optimistic.
Im not sure what happened with Blair and Dan, but I heard something about Muppets, or Sesame Street, and Smiles- which is only a good thing. I felt a large sense of relief, everything was going to be ok, which it was. Dan switched his phone back on to see that he had 17 Missed calls, 14 from me and 3 from Louis. I immediatly checked my phone to discover I had 5 missed calls from him..

I went home, I felt safe. I knew i'd be getting sleep tonight. So much had happened in those 24 hours. I decided to go home by myself, to give Eelanor, Cyrus and Blair some much needed time together.
It was gonna be like a fun-house around here as Eelanor and Cyrus decided to stay until the wedding. If their is a wedding. that is! Blair was full of emotions, she was feeling sorrow, heartbreak, love, friendship, sadness, loss, guilty, and depressed.
I went up to my room, and went to the bathoom and kept on hearing 'You can do it!' Then I realised it was comming from Blairs room. I slowly opened thedoor to find Prince Louis laying in bed watching Dr Phil. To my advantage he didn't notice me, I don't know whats more shocking the fact that Louis didn't check up on Blair at the hospital or that he watches Dr. Phil. Maybe thats why he's such a bore.
I heard a lot of arguing, I guess that means that Blair found Louis. At this stage, it looks like were not going to have a royal wedding. My phone started going off, it was a text from Dan 'Make gingerbread with me 2moro @ loft for Blair?' I texted back 'Sure, text me the time and im there'.

This morning I found out that Blair and Louis havent called off there relationship. They have worked everything out. And whilst i may not believe thats the best decison. I respect it. Blair needs cheering up, luckily enough, I alongside Dan will be making her Gingerbread, in about an hour actually. I should probally leave right now actually.
I arrive at the loft, expecting for us to be using pre-made cake mixes and store-bought icing. My hypothesis couldn't be more wrong, he had a white apron and a white novelty chef hat [which was probally designed for a big headed 5 year old] He had everything all planned out. We start in the kitchen. I joke 'You caught me in the kitchen without my chefs hat on.. How unprofessional of me.' Dan laughs 'I am the head chef of course, speaking of which I should probally check our main course.' I grab Dans hat 'If thats so how come im the one wearing the hat' Dan suprisingly picked me up, my hands holding his shoulders tightly, he didn't seem to mind. He eventually got his hat back, then I noticed a large blob of flour on Dan's nose.
I didnt notice it before, I say to him 'uh, head chef. You've got Flour on your nose.' He responses with 'I umm saw it on a cooking show, and I think you need some'. He splashes a large amount of flour on me, 'I'll get you', I threw a massive amount on his shirt [im not quite sure that we will have enough flour to make anything else] I found myself falling on-top of Dan. He had the cheekiest laugh, one I haven't seen him do in a very long time. We look deep into eachothers eyes, Dan moves his hands through my hair, with his eyes never leaving mine. I let out a massive laugh, I couldn't help it. Dan started laughing aswell.
Our gingerbread turned out to be really overcooked, but that's his fault. He is head chef afterall. Due to the fact that I was covered in flour from the head down, because I didn't have any clothes here I got to wear either Dan's clothes, or pick something of Vanessa's very few clothes she left. I wasn't in the mood to wear organic so I wore one of Dan's oversized shirts.
We headed back to the loft, how attractive we looked! My hair in a messy bun, big clothes. When we arrived back at the UES Blair looked as if she was doing a lot better, although the way I looked took a lot of explaining. The gingerbread helped, even if it was lacking flour!
